Just as Blaize left the area, Tiger and Fisher Tiger reacted, they looked at each other with a puzzled expression.
First, they didn't expect Blaize to be a Marine. Second, they could tell the human didn't discriminate against them based on their appearance and race. It came as a shock to them.
"Looks like Marines gained another powerful human to their ranks!" Tiger commented.
"Yes!"
"Jinbe, I feel that human youth will come after us just like he said. He's different from all the humans I encountered so far, he's going to be a tough opponent."
"What are you saying, Boss! Though he seems powerful, he isn't strong enough to take us both." Jinbe chuckled.
Tiger shook his head and looked at Arlong, "Let's get him to the ship. His wound looks pretty bad."
Meanwhile, King Neptune and Queen Otohime also got the report of what happened in the Fishman District which surprised them.
--
Blaize and Gion walked towards the edge of the Fishman District looking for a coated ship to travel to the surface.
"Wait..." A shark Mermaid drifted towards them wearing a hooded purple blouse carrying a crystal ball. She's none other than Shyarly, who was saved by Blaize an hour back.
Unlike in the original series, she looks quite young and the same size as normal humans.
"Oh...it's you!" Blaize smiled.
"My name's Shyarly. Thanks for saving me! I..."Thanking him, Shyarly hesitated as if she had something in her mind but don't know how to say it.
"Haha, don't be afraid. You can say whatever you want, I won't criticize you." Blaize reassured while thinking in his heart, 'is it because she had a vision?'
Shyarly firmed her heart and spoke: "I saw your future, it doesn't look good. You are going to die soon! I'm sorry!"
Saying this, she lowered her head not knowing how to face him. He's the man who saved her life but she told him such disturbing news.
She felt guilty and nervous. The only reason she told Blaize about her prediction was that she doesn't want him to die.
Hearing it Blaize sighed while Gion reacted differently fuming in anger: "What? How dare you say such a thing?"
Witnessing her outburst, Shyarly cringed back in fear.
"Gion, cool down. You are scaring her." Blaize held and pushed her back.
"But, she—"
"I think she's telling the truth." Blaize asked Shyarly, "What did you see?"
"I don't know. It was blurry; Sea, flames, swords, humans...it was total destruction. You were at the center of it with gaping wounds all over your body." Shyarly cried recounting what she saw.
Blaize knew her predictions are very accurate. She predicted the dawning of the Great Age of Pirates, as well as the outcome of the Summit War of Marineford and Whitebeard's death.
All of it came true.
If you ask whether Blaize is afraid of the prediction? Yes, he is. He isn't afraid of death but a death without any accomplishments.
'What comes will eventually come, no one can stop it.'
Blaize didn't show any emotions on his face. Observing this, Shyarly asked in a low voice. "Aren't you afraid?"
"Afraid? Hahaha. Why should I? Death comes to everyone, it doesn't matter. What matters is, how we live our life." Blaize laughed shocking Shyarly and Gion.
Both of them thought, he has gone crazy knowing his days are numbered.
Stretching his hands towards the sky, Blaize uttered his heartfelt words. "I am going to live a colorful and exciting life. My dream is to become the strongest man in the world and stand at the peak.
So what if I die in the process, I won't shrink away."
His words stunned Gion as she didn't expect Blaize had such a passion in his heart. She always wonders why he works so hard to become strong, now she knew the answer.
Gion admires his goal and his determination to achieve it. 'The path to the strong isn't an easy one.'
Before she could come out of his daze, an overwhelming breath burst out of Blaize pushing Gion and Shyarly to a distance startling them both.
"Still, if someone wants to take my life, it won't be easy! I am not the type of person who welcomes death with open arms.
If someone wants to draw my blood, they should be ready to shed theirs!" Blaize smirked.
Shyarly's words didn't affect his frame of mind, in fact, it strengthened them further. His desire to become strong burned fiercer than ever.
He's a person who already lived well and died once so his heart holds no place for insignificant life.
Even if his time is a short one in this life, he wants it to be like a shooting star; exotic, adventurous, and without any regrets.
'What a powerful breath! Is it haki?' Gion wondered. She was completely suppressed unable to even lift a finger while Shyarly is in an even worst state.
"Blaize-kun..." Gion called, pulling Blaize out of his thoughts.
Noticing their state, Blaize quickly retrieved the breath he unconsciously released and apologized.
"I shouldn't have told my prediction. I just don't want the human who showed kindness to the Fishman kingdom to die." Shyarly said with tear-filled eyes.
"haha, what are you saying? Your prediction isn't going to change anything. In fact, you made it wonderful."
"Really?"
"Yes! Now go back with peace of mind. Take care, Shyarly!" Blaize patted her shoulder to make her relax.
"You too!" Saying this, Shyarly swam away.
"Blaize-kun, are you okay?" Gion asked in a concerned voice.
"What do you think?" Blaize cheekily asked back while Gion snorted. But she was inwardly relieved perceiving he didn't lose his mind and at the same time impressed by his firm heart.
If someone else was in his position, they would have completely lost it and would have gone crazy by now.
"Let's go, Gion!"
Like how they came to Fishman Island, Blaize thrashed and threatened a pirate crew to carry them to the surface if they want to live.
Just like that Blaize and Gion left the Fishman District taking the unconscious Ridge and Glave.
