I grab my phone to check on it. It was just my alarm I set for today. 'But why did I set an alarm?' I wondered. 'It's because you thought that today is your enrollment day. That's why you woke up late on the exact day because you set the wrong date on your alarm.' My subconscious replied. Yeah right, now I remember. I stood up and stretch my arms. I went to the bathroom and watch myself infront of the mirror for a couple of minutes.
"What a dream." I yawned.
I notice that my hair is very messy so I went back to the dresser to grab a comb. 'Oh I have to text Alex about the apartment.' I thought. I grab my phone and typed down a message to Alex.
"Hey Alex. I just wanted to ask if you know some affordable apartments here in NJ that is close to NJ City University? I was thinking of moving out real quick since we cannot afford to stay in the hotel anymore and my mom is planning to go back to New York within this week. Bmb. Thanks ahead. Emma xoxo"
Minutes later, Alex called.
"Hey Emma. Well I do know some apartments and I can also drive you there." He uttered.
"Oh that's great! Can we go there today?" I asked. "I mean if that's okay, you can pick me up at nine this morning." I added.
"Yeah sure! Why not." He replied.
"Thank you so much, Alex!" I muttered joyfully. I'm trying to keep my voice down since my mom is still sleeping and I don't want to wake her up.
"You're always welcome, Emma." I can tell that he's smiling. I hung up the call and went directly to the bathroom to take a shower.
After taking the shower, I grab a towel and went directly to my wardrobe. I decided to put on some blue floral dress for my top and a pair of brown mid-calf boots for my footwear. I dried my hair using the blower and I use the hair iron to curl it up. I really don't know how to do make up so I just put on the usual powder and lip gloss to add glow and beauty to my face. It was already near nine and I heard a knock on the door. 'It must be Alex.' I thought. I opened the door and instead of seeing Alex, I saw Drew standing on the door with a big smile on his face.
"Where is Alex?" I asked with confusion in my eyes.
"Oh he didn't tell you?" He asked.
"Tell me what?" Now I'm really confused.
"Well he asked me if I could pick you up because he had an emergency meeting with his father about their company and he doesn't want to break his promise to you." He said with a smirk. Here goes the Drew-thing again. "And after all, staying in the apartment is kinda boring so here I am." He grin.
"Oh. Okay." I replied. Seeing him smirk makes me remember about the dream I had with spiderman last night. What if he really is the spiderman in my dreams? 'Oh stop it Emma. You know he isn't.' I said to myself.
"So are you coming my lady?" He raised his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and he chuckled.
"Uhm yeah sure." I grab my pursed and wrote a quick note to my mom.
"I'm going out to look for an apartment. I'll be back later. Love you. Emma xoxo."
I left the note on the small table near my mom's bed. I closed the door and we both went outside. 'Why is he so hot?' I wondered. I can't help but admire his looks. He's so handsome. From the way he opened his car to the way he droves it. I stared at him for a moment and imagined him wearing the spiderman suit. It looks perfect on him. His body is very firm and strong. I bet he can do exactly like what spiderman has done to the burglars in my dreams. I can't help but blush on the thought of him saving me from those guys. The butterflies in my stomach are not helping. 'Snap out of it Emma. Stop daydreaming.' My subconscious mocked. Yeah I think I should.
"I'm kinda hungry." He finally spoke.
"Yeah me too." I responded.
He turned the wheel and just smiled in response.
