Janice's pov
So I was at a restaurant earlier. After getting stood up for the third time by the same guy, I decided to roll into a club.
I was not yet over Mat but I wasn't going to let that stop me from having fun.
Turning to make my way towards the bar, I spotted a hottie with a Blondie by his side. They were half-drunk and were looking at each other as if they were undressing each other with their eyes.

Before I could end my thought, however, I caught a whiff of sandalwood. Not that the smell in itself was peculiar but I immediately remembered catching the same exotic smell back in the restaurant. It was unique.
Jake was glad that he had ended up with Nirvana in the club alone. Mat had been so angry earlier when she had stubbornly decided to go with or without him.
Jake smiled.
"I'll get us some drinks", he declared proudly.
