It has been a week since I came back from the shanty town and lived in the inner city.
My work was supposed to include guarding Madam's daughter Arshaya but I have not even seen her once in the last week.
Madam told me that she still misses her father a lot and wants to go out into the forest to investigate. Madam had forced her to stay inside so she has fully devoted herself to practising meditation.
I was surprised to find out that Madam had a meditation chamber inside the mansion. Her dead husband had built it when he used to adventure into the North forest. I had followed Madam around. I was not very popular with the other servants.

I mean I hoped it could happen but these guys underestimated the magic power of madam. I had not told her about the secret of Margaret being higher level than her. We had gone to the Norther. part in a carriage with me besides the driver to buy filled magic bottles.
Most of the magic bottle industry was under the kingdom and the buying and selling was generally regulated by them and you had to pay taxes while trading these bottles.
This made me more wary of Old John and the powers behind him.
I had upgraded my metal magic to level 2 with the gold coin of this week from Blu Inn to solve the problem of buying metal since with infinite mana I could create metal as long as I want.
Obviously, I couldn't pump it out in large quantities otherwise someone would lose his business and come looking for the source of market disruption.
In the next few days, I experimented to try making a light lamp at night. With my perfect mana control, it seemed extremely smooth to me. I was able to make it quickly.
I didn't not have an extra mana bottle so I used the one I had to make a light mana battery and plug it inside the circuit.
The lamp worked better than what I had seen from Rock. I knew it was because of the even rune lines so there was smooth flow of mana. I was assuming that this lamp would probably work for a longer time than any of the lamps in the market.
I quickly discharged the magic battery and put it in my pocket and removed the metal piece into the soil to hide it. Ofcourse, that is what I believed. I didn't pay attention to the bird that was sitting on the window which seemed like an ordinary sparrow.
The next morning, I had been called to Madam's chamber. I got nervous hearing it. I didn't know why I was called.
she asked me to step inside a certain line on the ground and then pushed mana into the circuit.
"It's a isolation rune circuit. No one can hear us here. I saw what you did with the bulb. Why did you hide last time that you were a dual mage of Metal and Earth." She asked with a smirk.

I was worried about Rock leaving and Earl taking away the metal slave which would have left me and Arshaya with nothing here." She said.
