I sat there shocked at the gift, not knowing what to say or do.
"You can't be serious,this is not for me. Can you pinch me I think I'm hallucinating." I said looking at Jake.
"Yes I'm serious, and it is yours, my mom and dad decided that since you are given the title you should have a crown at least." He said smiling.
"Omg this is too much to accept." I said.
"No returns, have to accept it, and wear it on my coming of age ceremony a few more weeks from now."
"Thank you; you guys are being too kind to just a peasant like me." I said placing my hands on the crown.
"Your more than that, if you could see yourself as how we all see you wouldn't wonder why we are being so kind." Jake said.
"Thanks." Was all I said.
There was silence for a brief moment,until Jake spoke.
"Okay I hate silence come let's make some noise." Jake said with a smirk.
"Ha funny, what is this crown made of it's really breathtaking to look at." I said changing the topic.
"Well it's made of the highest quality of gold and diamond with Pearl's as the design stones." Jake simply said.
"What the hell those things are real diamonds and pearls?" I asked.
"Of course, its real what you think we are that cheap to give you something fake?" Jake said raising his eyebrows.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean it in that way, I'm just surprised and to think how much this would have cost you people." I said.
"As I said we have more money than we think of what to do with it, its call being a royal babe." Jake said.
"Oh." Was all I said.
"Okay enough about that come here" Jake said taking the box from hands and placing it on the night stand next to the bed.
He place it there and hugged me and we both fell down on the bed.
"Your always putting your 900 pounds on me Jake." I said.
"But you love it don't you?" Jake teased.
"Maybe." I said blushing.
"Come on let's look at a movie."
Jake got up and place his tv on and selected a random movie. To our surprise it wasn't a bad movie at all. It had a lot of romance. Jake lay there on my lap while I play with his hair. The movie had a really nice ending, sad but really nice. After the movie I was getting hunger so we decided to head down stairs for lunch. We got down and saw that the king and Queen were standing outside in the yard.
"They are leaving now?" I asked Jake.
"I guess so, come on let's go to say goodbye." Jake said holding my hands and pulling me towards the direction of the King and Queen.
"Hello mother and father are you guys leaving now?" Jake asked as we got there.
"Hello son,yes we are,what are you two up too?" His majesty asked.
"Nothing really just playing around." Jake said.
"I wish you two a safe journey your majesty." I said with a slight bow.
"Thank you dear,you guys keep safe as well." Her highness said.
"You guys should probably spend the day out at the mall or something." His majesty suggested.
"The paparazzi will surely love that won't they father?" Jake said.
"I think it's time to start living and feel free son, your ceremony is coming up we won't be here forever you know." His majesty said.
"I know dad I will soon." Jake said with a smile.
"Okay we need to get going now, don't want your grandmother me be waiting to long. The drive already takes an hour so,you guys take care and be safe and no trouble you hear me? His majesty said.
"As always dad." Jake said.
Her highness came and kiss Jake and I making me feel so awkward and weird.
"You guys be careful and keep out of trouble see you two in a week." She said and got into the car.
We stood there as they descended with maybe fifty other cars in front and behind them. Jake and I got back inside and decided to have lunch in his room instead. We got back to his room and he order fries and chicken.
After probably ten minutes later the someone knock on the door.
"Your majesty your lunch is here." The servant said from behind the door.
"You may enter." Jake said in a deep voice.
The servant entered and brought the food in. I stood there await to see how Jake would treat the servant and see if he had heed my words from the first time we were encountered by a servant severing us.
"Here is everything you had order your majesty, I hope that you two enjoy." She said kindly.
I looked at Jake.
"Thank you Anna, you may leave now."
"You're welcome your majesty." Anna responded with a bow.
"Thank you as well Anna." I said finally.
"Its honor to serve you; your majesty." She said bowing deeply.
"Its an honor to have you to serve me as well." I said calmly.
"Thank you,I will take my leave now,enjoy." Anna said and left.
"So was that kind enough?" Jake asked as the servant exited the room.
"Not enough but your getting there." I said smiling.
"I'm hungry." I said I went for fires and stuffed my face.
Jake chucked and then came and sat next to me and we ate together...
....
I was now leaving Jake's room after he told me I should to get ready for 7:30pm and it was already 6:10pm. After lunch we didn't do much but play around and looked at movies. I left the room and headed back to mine; which I was heading back too since this morning.
"That's when you love to follow man Navin." My subconscious insulted.
"Oh shut up." I said out loud starling a servant that was passing.
"I'm sorry, I was talking to myself." I said sheepishly.
"Its okay your majesty." She said and continued walking.
"It is just me but did my name change from young lord to your majesty?" I thought to myself.
Nevertheless I continued my journey to my room. I got there in a few turns and place the box with the crown on the night stand. Afterwards I decided I should shower.
After showering for probably for 15 mintues; making sure that I wash everywhere clean not wanting to embarrass myself. I got out and headed inside my closet, have no idea what I was going to wear.
After searching for about 15 mintues I haven't gotten anything that I think would look good in. So I decided that I will call Angel she always boost my confidence. I got my phone and dialed her number and waited for her to answer.
Angel: hey what's up? everything good?
Me: Yeah everything is kool, where you at?
Angel: I'm at Zachs why?.
Me: ouu okay nothing I just wanted to know where you at.
Angel: You sure?
Me: Yeah alright I talk to you later I got to go enjoy.
Angel: Okay hun bye.
I cut the phone and sighed heavily. What am I suppose to do now. I don't want to disturb her and let her left just because I can't seem to fine something that I think I would look good in. That's just being selfish... I sighed.
I checked the time and saw it was 7:10pm already. I haven't seen anything I want to wear as yet either. This was harder than I had expected. I got back into my closet and finally found a dark. Jean, I tired it on and to my surprise it wasn't that bad at all. I turned all around making sure that I didn't look ridiculous from behind.
"Well that's one down; I need a shirt still."I said to myself
I searched through quickly and found a grey shirt with a small bird like logo on it. I tired it on and it was okay. I checked my time and saw that it was 7:20pm. Why does time move so quickly when you"re hurrying but not when you're literally not doing a single thing. Ughhhh I got in the bathroom brush my teeth and place some gel on my hair and comb it a little and let it fall slightly above my eyes. I place a snickers on and left the room.
I headed to Jake's room to see if he was finished and ready to leave. I got there in a turns as usual. But I knock on the door several times no one answered. I kind of felt bad,but waited there still.
"Your majesty, Prince Jake has already left." A servant said starling me.
"Omg you scared me." I said holding my heart.
"I'm sorry your majesty, your car is waiting for you downstairs already."
"Thank you." I said and he walked away.
On my way downstairs I was thinking did Jai told me he was going to drop me. Jake didn't say if we would go together either, Ughh this is killing my mood. I got downstairs and out on the porch and saw Jai dressed neatly in a nice dark suit. Yes I know he always wear dark suits but this one seem different and gives off a different feeling as well. He saw me and headed straight towards me.
"Hey goodnight, Your majesty." Jai said with a slight bow.
"Hmmm Good night Jai, what's going on? Why you look so formal tonight?" I asked.
"Well I am suppose to take you to your date." Jai said.
"Ohhh." Was all I said.
"What's wrong? you don't look to happy." Jai asked.
"I'm fine I just feel ugly, look like I'm taking you to your date and the other way around." I said chuckling a little.
"What the hell are you talking about you look great. You know that's one thing I love about you." Jai said.
"And what's that?" I asked raising my eyebrows.
"Your so humble, too humble, you"re going on a date with the Prince of Kensington, the heir to the throne , the future king." He said.
"Okay I get it." I said smiling.
"Sorry, yes and you are dressed so simple like that just makes me respect your humbleness a lot more." He said smiling.
"Aw thank you Jai, you made my whole good mood come back." I said patting his back.
"Now let's go I'm already getting second thoughts." I said chuckling.
"Wait I'm suppose to open the door for you." Jai said stopping me from opening the car door and doing it him self.
I raised my eyebrows.
"Don't need to do that for me Jai." I said.
"I know but I wanted too." Jai said smiling.
"Thanks." I said smiling.
I got into the car and waited for Jai to get in. Jai went and talk with a few other guards that were standing not too far away from us. He talked with them for a little while and then came back to the car.
"Sorry that took so long." He said sliding that dark glass to see me.
"Its fine." I said.
"I must say thank you to Navin. You have really change my life at work here." Jai said.
"Huh thank you for what and how?" I asked curiously.
"You will know soon." Was all he said.
"Oh for fuck sakes, that's all I have been hearing these days." I said looking out the window.
" You sound so cute when your curse." Jai said chuckling.
"Its like no one can probably get angry at you cursing at them but rather smile." Jai chuckled.
"Ughh." I said rolling my eyes
"Okay let's go we are already a little late." Jai said closing the glass and starting the car.
After that Jai and I didn't say much since I wasn't really in the mood to be talking much as well. I hope Jake takes me somewhere nice to get back my good mood. And stop being too secretive as well. Jai and him are being asses with the "You will know soon" Ughh. After driving for about 10 minutes the car finally stopped.
