After lots of effort, she finally regained consciousness. Upon seeing the girl awake, the boy, catching his breath, asked, "Are you okay?" A faint smile played on his lips.
"Who are you?" asked the girl, confusion and disappointment evident.
"Why did you save me?" she asked again, her confusion apparent.
"I'm asking, are you fine or not?" the boy said coldly, angered by her words.
She sat quietly, not answering, her unhappiness evident that the boy had risked his life for her, yet she questioned why he had saved her. With an apologetic expression, she lifted her head slightly and, looking into his eyes, said, "Sorry... and thank you."
"I asked, 'Are you fine?' " the boy asked the girl in a calm voice once again.
"Oh, yes, I am fine," the girl said, catching her breath. Her heart rate was fast due to the sinking feeling in her chest.
"First, breathe. Sit comfortably," the boy said, with a hint of dilemma and hesitation. "Your name and your address, tell me so I can send you there safely," he said as he sat in the driver's seat.
After a lot of thought, the girl said, "Helix, my name and there's no need. I will go myself. Thank you for saving me." Saying that Helix's forehead was filled with worry as she started to contemplate where her home was. Today, her home was no more, as the people she called home had betrayed her. Her house was filled with memories of betrayal that would haunt her forever. Would she go back to the house where she would only find pain and nothing else? She was in a dilemma.
Seeing her sorrowful face, he understood that she was not well and was going through a problem. Otherwise, why would anyone want to end their life? Why a beautiful girl like Helix, whose single smile was enough to mesmerize anyone?
Why was he thinking all this? Because he had forgotten all his problems ever since he saw Helix. Looking at Helix, he felt the missing part of his life was finally complete. Now, he could live happily.
He could not understand what about Helix that comforted him and why he should not separate from her. He didn't know why he wanted to keep her with him forever. Just looking at her was enough for him.
Helix asked, seeing him immersed in his thoughts, 'What happened?'"
"Nothing," said the boy with a slight smile, murmuring to himself, 'Why are this girl's dreams playing with my mind and heart?'
"Okay, I will leave. My car is parked right there," Helix said, assuring him that she would be fine and pointing to her car parked on the right side of his car.
As soon as she spoke, she stepped down from the opposite side of the car and stood in front of the boy's side window. With a slight smile, she said, "Bye."
After saying goodbye, she started to move forward but had hardly walked five to six steps when she suddenly fell to the ground.
Seeing her fall, the boy rushed out of his car and ran to her. He looked at her unconscious face and, without a moment's hesitation, lifted Helix in his arms and carried her back to his car.
He became very worried upon seeing her. She was the same girl who had smiled at him just two minutes ago, and now she was lying unconscious in his arms.
The fear of losing her and her unconsciousness shook him to the core. Gently, he placed Helix in the back seat of his car and immediately took the driver's seat, starting to drive.
The young man's heart raced as he navigated the winding roads, stealing glances at the figure lying still in the back seat. He doesn't know anything about what happened to her suddenly. She was smiling and saying goodbye to him just two minutes earlier, and now she is here, lying without any movement. He is so tense; everything is becoming dark in front of him.
At this point amid his turmoil, a beacon of hope emerged—a memory of a face, a name., someone who could help him. he reached for his phone, fingers dancing across the screen in a desperate search for a lifeline(a name whom he hasn't contacted in the last two years.), a connection long dormant .. After a lot of searching, he finally finds the number, and unconsciously, a small bitter smile paints on his face, and his tension fades after seeing the number. Dialing with urgency, he whispered a prayer as the call connected. "Hello, Dr Melvin Lobo,"
The voice on the other end greeted him with surprise tinged with warmth as if a long-lost friend had returned. "Yes, Jacob, tell me, what's the matter?" Dr Melvin's voice resonated with reassurance, a soothing balm to Jacob's frayed nerves.
"I want you to treat someone who is currently in my car and is unconscious. Please, tell me you can save her, please..." Jacob says with a pleading voice, vaguely mentioning his situation.
"Listen first, don't be afraid, and bring her to my house," Dr. Melvin tells him.
"Okay, I am on the way." At the same time, Jacob hangs up the phone and starts driving carefully towards Dr Melvin's house.

In the Highlight Apartment,
Rosy engaged in a conversation with the doctor, her tone filled with urgency as she implored him to hasten his arrival before gracefully ending the call. Turning her attention to Alex, her eyes danced with mischief as she instructed him, "Alex, could you kindly reach out to Helix and inquire about her whereabouts? After all, this girl's (Hazel) only medicine is your love, and my dear, feisty friend here." With a teasing smile, Rosy emphasized the latter part.
Upon hearing Rosy's words, Alex became upset, pondering how he would tell Rosy that he was the reason for Hazel's condition and that Helix might be in a similar situation somewhere.
Observing Alex's dazed expression, Rosy realized that something fishy was going on with Hazel's situation and that Alex was trying to hide something from her.
To uncover the truth, she said to Alex, "What's the matter? I can see that you're trying hard to hide something from me."
Alex offered a feeble reassurance, "It's nothing, Rosy. My mind is simply preoccupied with concern for Hazel, that's all." A nervous gesture saw him wiping beads of sweat from his forehead.
"Tell me the truth. I can see both of you are hiding something from me. So, would you please tell me, or should I find out on my own?" said Rosy, giving him a narrowed-eyed look.
"I'll tell you but promise me first that you won't say anything to Hazel afterward," said Alex, lowering his head.
"What? What did you say? Do you mean Hazel? What's going on in your head, man? Would you please tell me?" said Rosy, worry evident on her face.
