'Master, master! Mistress caught a criminal. There was a ghost fight.'
Ya looked at Arya with a hero worship look on his face. Considering Vini's actions, obviously anyone would love to see her fight. Arya smiled indulgently at his guardian who was bouncing around the room like a pink bouncing ball. Arya picked the ball up and placed the struggling ball in his hands on the table before him. Ya blinked its large blue eyes as if wronged.
"Calm down, eh?"
Arya sat on the sofa in an elegant manner. He was wearing pajamas and his normal sleek black hair was unkempt.
'But master, you never fight like this. With you, its only one strike. But mistress fights like the ones you see in action movies. You never let me watch movies.'
The guardian again showcased its wronged expression. Arya smiled at the cute pink ball and said, "Because you can't control yourself in the movie theater and cause a scene, I can't take you there. I'll arrange a home theater here for you, how's that sound?"
The guardian smiled a toothy grin.
'Thank you master. In that case, I'll do today's darknet scouting. You rest and think about my home theater. I want all collector's edition things.'
The guardian then operated on Arya's phone.
'Master, do you want to announce your identity?'
Arya looked at the ball and raised his eyebrows. Why did it suddenly think about that?
"Why do you ask that? It will be good if all my enemies think I'm dead and run like headless chickens. I can finish them one by one."
'Master, see this!'
Arya looked at the advertisement for the crystals and frowned. It was not in his plan. Some people were getting bold now that they thought his family was gone. The crystals were a taboo for normal magic holders. They couldn't touch or feel them. But someone wanted them. It meant there was a huge conspiracy brewing somewhere.
"Let's announce my survival in the auction. I won't let any danger go anywhere near her."
Vini worked on the game for the whole week. She never walked out her door. She worked, ate and exercised. Ni complained about her unhealthy lifestyle and nagged. Then the guardian got angry and ignored her while eating all her snacks.
"Let's go see the auction. You can meet many new people there and I'll also exercise by walking, right?"
'Master, you are too much. Humph.'
Vini smiled and put on her black outfit. She fitted her hidden weapons and rode her bicycle to the town's centre. There were all kinds of luxury cars parked in the front. Vini scouted the area and observed the venue for all kinds of escape routes. She then entered the venue.
It was totally different from the outside. The colorful surroundings added an antique street vibe. There were stalls of many kinds. Vini felt all the objects with her magic while perusing them. Her gaze finally landed on a nearly abandoned stall which had a large residual magical energy. That's why there were no people around it. In Vini's opinion, true gems looked like dirt before they are polished.
She saw all the objects and marveled at their beauty. There were porcelain and wooden carvings of various scenes. The crystal bracelets were beautiful and they had charms. The stall owner was a guy in his mid forties. He had a friendly smile and kind face.
"Boy, do you want something?"
"How much for this knitted pair of cats?"
There were two cats, one blue and other pink. The blue one looked like Ni and Vini knew that Ni would love it.
"Ah, these. These were made by my great grandmother. It was inspired by the legend of the crystal pair. Now as far as I know, it may be true. Do you know someone's paying huge sum of money for those crystals? It's a pity that no one can find those. They have been hidden for nearly three hundred years. And people think that normal inconsequential people like us will find them."
Vini felt amused at his explanation.
"How much do I have to pay?"
"Uh, hundred each?"
"You don't know their prices, do you?"
"My niece handles these but she is sick now so I am here."
Vini nodded. His niece must be some craftsman. Many objects had a very intricate carving that Vini wanted to buy them all.
"Can you tell your niece to meet me in V group's head office when she has time? I would like to talk about a business cooperation. Here's my card. No one will stop her if she shows this."
Vini placed her card and picked up the cats. She then placed the money before moving away from the stall. She saw a bench in the corner which was relatively not occupied. She sat and watched people for nearly an hour. It was evening and the auction wouldn't start till midnight. There weren't many people present now but there was still time. Vini stood up and watched every stall. She bought some chocolates for Ni and went out to stow away her purchases.
'Master, we are late. Mistress is already here.'
"I know."
'If you hadn't changed your clothes for like seven times, we would have been here earlier and I could have seen her. Last time you didn't allow me to meet her. I want to see her like you.'
"Not now. You have to stay in your crystal in this place. You will be face to face with her very soon, I promise, okay? Now go to your crystal."
Ya returned very reluctantly and Arya smiled at his guardian. He then prepared himself for his real encounter with his most favorite person. His nervousness at the moment knew no bounds.
Vini was returning to the exhibition when she saw a figure standing elegantly in a corner by the door. Vini knew who it was. The posture and aloof attitude could be pulled off by only one person she knew.
"Fancy seeing you here, Master Arya."
