I finally got out.
After being held as an apostate by my own kin.
I finally got out to smell the fresh air.
But this is not over yet, for Yuna's life is in trouble.
I don't have my phone. I don't know how I'll contact Yuna.
Where in the part of Tokyo am I even at?
I tried to look for a map, but it seems that everything is digital.
Now this is gonna be a problem...
I don't even have a cellphone, and money.
I guess I have to rely on people's kindness.
As I walk around the street to find a perfect person whom I can ask, I suddenly saw the Mori Tower.
I guess now I know where I am, but I'm still lost because the city is so big.
I then saw an old woman, standing.
I guess she's waiting for either a bus or a taxi.
"Excuse me? Do you know where exactly are we? I'm kinda lost. I'm not from Tokyo by the way." I asked.
She then showed me a map from her cellphone.
"Young man, where are you from? Why are you lost?"
"I'm from Sapporo. I was looking at the beauty of Tokyo with my friends when suddenly, I got separated."
"Poor boy. Have you seen where you are now? Would you like to take a taxi? Do you have a money?"
I looked down.
"I don't have money, I'll just take a walk to the destination."
I pointed her the place.
"My, that's so far. You should get a taxi."
"I'll be fine. Thank you, lady."
She shook her head and offers a money.
"You'll be lost again. I'll find you a taxi. Ok?"
"Thanks for the offer, lady, but you had helped me enough."
"No, I insist. Please. Here, I'll give you a money so that you can pay for your taxi. Ok?"
She then handed me ¥1000.
I couldn't refuse it, for it will be considered rude, so I accepted it and bowed down.
"Thank you. I'm sorry for bringing you trouble."
"It's fine, I'm at old age and I wanna help those who are in need."
She then calls a taxi.
After a while, the taxi came.
I waved my hand to say good bye at her.
I couldn't believe, that even in this cruel world, good people exists.
I felt joy, coming from my chest. A feeling of thankful because I met another good person. Like Yuna, her father, and the old man.
After a long ride, I finally arrived to my apartment.
I have to take everything I can, for the hoarders will be hunting both of us.
I took some money, the keychains that were hidden from my closet, and a back up phone.
I prepared everything. Because I knew this day would come.
And I think I also need a shower..
I then smelled my arm pit.
"God! I stink!"
As I shower, I clenched my fists and remembers Yuna's face.
'Yuna, wait for me...'
I tried to head to Café Noir, but I must not enter and should only stay outside. Because, who knows when will the hoarders will show up?
As I peak from the window, I saw her father, a couple of customers, and that's all.
I didn't see her.
Maybe she's upstairs?
I couldn't hold myself. Should I even ask her father where she is?
But I can't just deny the fact that I suddenly showed up. I mean, I was gone for days and didn't even showed up at New Year's eve.
However, I must face her father. After all, I will now tell them the real truth.
I raised my chest, and keeps my chin up with eyes closed.
I'm about to enter the Café
As soon as I enter, her father then saw me with his eyes wide open.
"Where have you been?" He asks.
"I was in a rough situation. I'm sorry."
"Didn't you text her?"
"I wanna surprise her, but it seems she's not around. Where is she? Is she upstairs?"
"No, she is literally out there looking for you."
"What!? Do you know where she is?"
"You sound surprised. I had no idea, she said she'll be back at 21:00."
"Text her. Do you know her cell number?" He asks.
"I lost my other phone, could you provide me her cell number?"
"Sure. Make sure you find her, ok?"
He then provided me her cell number and quickly left the café.
As I walk around the street to find her, I then text her a message.
"Yuna? It's Ryu. I'm here. Where are you?"
It took a while before she replies.
"I'm at a crossing in Shibuya. Where are you?? Where have you been?? Are you ok?? You didn't show up that day. What happened??"
"I'll explain later. Which crossing?"
"Near the Shibuya Tsutaya."
"Ok, I'll be there. Wait for me."
"Ok."
I hurried quickly. Shibuya City is not far from Kotto street after all.
Sooner or later, I saw her there, standing near the street light.
However, I did not come for her yet. Because I suspected that the hoarders are just around.
I did it on purpose. I told her to wait near the crossing where there are many people.
That way, the hoarders won't be able to assassinate her easily.
The time is 19:00. She must be back by 21:00. Like her father says.
I observed and examine the place.
If I were the one to hunt her, I'd probably be at the corner, stalking her.
'There!'
I saw the hoarder, waiting for her to go to a non-populated location.
I then grabbed my phone and calls her.
"Yuna?"
"Ryu!? Where are you??"
"I'll explain to you later. Right now, do everything what I say, for your life is in trouble."
"What!?"
"Yuna?"
"Yes?"
"Calm down, and do what I say. Ok?"
"Ok, understood."
"Now, I want you to keep walking and never look back. Ok? You may choose what ever street you want."
"Um.. Ok.."
"Yuna?"
"Yes?"
"I'm watching you right now. You're safe with me, but you're not safe if you will not follow what I'll say. Understood?"
"Understood."
The crowd are waiting for the stop light to turn red.
Yuna is with the crowd.
As soon as the stop light turns red, the crowd began to cross.
I kept my eyes on Yuna, but I also keeps my eyes on the hoarders.
It's true, there are hoarders. Looks like not just 1, but 4, and could be more.
Yuna is walking. I was at a farther distance, while the hoarders are just behind Yuna.
I kept my distance from the hoarders while also keeping an eye on Yuna.
Sooner or later, I then approached one of the hoarders who was following her at a farther distance.
I grabbed his mouth to shut him up and stabs his pulse at the neck from behind.
It was a quick move, a swift move. Nobody can notice it. This is how we assassins are trained.
I then lie him down to a near bench. Making it look like he fell asleep.
'3 more to go. Hopefully that's just all.'
One of the hoarders notices me and began to engage with me.
We charged with each other, but more like walking past through.
He prepares a knife, and so as I.
He quickly wave his arm and attempts to slit my throat. However, I blocked it and slits his throat instead.
He fell on his knee. People then notice it and panicked as to why he fell down.
Loud screams began to exist due to panicking women.
'2 down, 2 to go.'
I then called Yuna.
"Yuna. Keep walking and then turn left to an alley there."
"Ok."
As soon as she enters the alley, the hoarders behind her began to summon their keychain weapons.
However, before it even summons.
I then grabbed one of the hoarder's shoulder and summons my sword all the way to his neck.
The other hoarder saw what happened.
"What the? Traito-"
I quickly slit his throat before he even tries to slash me.
I sighed.
'That's 4 down.'
As I sheathe my sword, I then saw Yuna. Looking at me...
"Ryu?"
