Chapter 16 - Strike of Realization

Awaking to the sound of the feasting ghosts was nothing special to the lonesome goblin. But why was it special now? Mr. Goblin turned over to see over 40 ghosts clearing up their munchies. Such a ludicrous amount, so many spores were being eaten, so much food wasted. Mr. Goblin was in a word, hangry. What might a fully grown goblin do when seeing it's common food source snack on his food? If you answered murder them, you would be correct. Well there are exceptions. One such exception was when you had less combatants and are therefore weaker. See, Goblins arent dumb.

As Mr. Goblin observed the ghosts in depth for the first time, he realized how familiar they seemed. If was like he was staring into a reflection of himself, although much younger. But why would these ghosts need to eat? Do ghosts even eat? Wait what are ghosts? These thoughts filled Mr. Goblins mind, although they were much cruder. Pondering had never been a goblins strong point. It was always "good stick" that or "fooood!" this. So when complex thinking is required, a higher form of creature must exist, one with intelligence. For a goblin, the potential variants, evolutions, and differences are uncountable, merely due to the insane nature of the goblins existence itself. But, an intelligent goblin, will forever be, an extreme rarity. Alas, Mr. Goblin was neither blessed, lucky, unlucky, transmigrated, reborn, or anything remotely different from a goblin. He was pure.

As he decided on his best course of action, he observed his surroundings. He thought, " I have much food, sharing is caring?" Although a goblin cannot and will not ever "care", they will share. Whether it is with their fellow goblin or pet, a goblin can give up it's own resources to help another creature. As he observed that creatures that shrieked as he eats them, he thought. Now a goblin's thinking is fairly limited, but a conundrum of information can be processed in their green heads. So, with might of mind prepared, Mr. Goblin pronounced, " Kreeeeeeeeee!"
