Chapter 35 - Crocasaur

The Crocasaur roared at them and went in and tried to slam down at them. But they all dodge out of the way and Godo teleported away to avoid it.

"Be careful this thing's skin is tough if it can swim around in Leviathan's stomach acids," said Godo.

"He going to be a tough cookie then," said Schaffe. Schaffe starts to use his magic on it using lighting bolts to attack since it looks like an aquatic being. Jonathan goes up and goes for a slash but sees it barely makes a scratch on the beast.

"Damn," said Jonathan as he jumps back before the beast swats at him with its left arm.

"We can't even hurt its skin," said Liam.

"What we do now?" asked Alucard.

"I guess it's time we get creative then, but I need time," said Schaffe.

  "Alright," said Alucard.

"It seems they can work together," Godo in thought. Schaffe looks as if he is starting to chant something. Jonathan and Liam go and distract the Crocasaur by attacking. Alucard kept his distance from it and attacked with his energy slash attack. Godo watched them making sure to make sure to help if they needed support anywhere.

"Alright, clear out of the way," said Schaffe. Jonathan and Liam jump back and Schaffe unleashes a spell which is a combination of fire, ice, and lighting magic at the Crocasaur which makes it fall onto its back.

"Did we beat it?" asked Alucard. They watch it get back up as if nothing happened to it.

"This thing is a real monster," said Liam.

"Be on guard, we are not out of the park yet," said Schaffe. It gets back on feel and releases a loud, terrifying scream.

"I think I seen what I need," said Godo. He placed his left in front of him as if he was going to grab something towards the Crocasaur's head. He then grips his hand and the Crocasaur's head looks as if it going to be crushed.

  "The Hell?" asked Jonathan.

"Goodbye, Creature," said Godo. He closes his hand and the Crocasaur's head implodes and it falls back down bleeding green blood out as it dies.

"He could do that the whole time?" questioned Liam in shock.

"My you must be hiding your tricks, Godo," said Schaffe.

"I was only seeing what your abilities were and I can tell I can trust you," said Godo.

"Well, thanks but you could have killed us," said Liam.

"Sorry," said Godo. "But I have learned something interesting one of you could use powerful magic."

"Yes, I learned from my mentor's mage friend," said Schaffe.

"I also see you have potential for more," said Godo. He goes to Schaffe and places his left index finger on his forehead.

"What going?" questioned Schaffe. Schaffe eyes started to widen and his pupils went smaller as he fell to the ground on his back. Jonathan lunges and places his blade at Godo's neck.

"What did you do?" asked Jonathan.

"Help unlock his hidden potential, even gave him new tricks," said Godo. Schaffe gets up and starts laughing like a maniac.

"Now, that's a neat trick," said Schaffe.

"Schaffe, are you alright?" asked Alucard.

"Yes, better in fact," said Schaffe.

"We should get a move on before something else comes for us," said Godo.

"This would be a smart move," said Schaffe. They enter the tunnel system that leads to the brain of the Leviathan.
