Schaffe enters a dark hallway where he sees Alice in her white nightgown that has some dirt on it. Schaffe walked slowly till he heard a voice.
"Stop, right there, Frye," said a Man. He looks as he sees a man in rags wearing a sack over his head to hide his identity.
"I have your money, let her go," said Schaffe.
"Let me see," said The Man. He throws the bag towards the man who opens it and sees the money.
"See, now let her go," said Schaffe.
"Alright, come and get her," said the Man with a sinister chuckle. Schaffe walks forward but feels something catches his left leg and makes him fall. He looks and sees his left leg is stuck in a bear trap.
"You are a stupid idiot," said The Man. "I would get more money for you to be my hostage." They see Alice wake up and start to struggle to get out of the ropes she is tied to.
"Damn it," said Schaffe.
"Well, girly you are no longer useful to me," said The Man, who gets a knife out and intends to kill Alice.
"No!" yelled Schaffe. He tries to get his leg unstuck with his hands. He watches as Alice looks terrified. He would hear a voice in his head one that is forgotten but familiar to Schaffe.
"Are you just going to let her die just like your mother, it's time you embrace your lineage raise," The Voice echoed in his mind. Schaffe would get up and rip the chain that held the bear trap to the wall. The man heard this and turned around as he watched Schaffe walk forward dragging his left leg on the ground. He watches as his eyes start to change from brown to scarlet red a true mark of a demon.
"What going…" he was going to ask before Schaffe lunged at him and crushed his face with his left hand. Alice watched afraid as this was not Schaffe to her as she watched him tear the man apart in the dark. He did not look human in the dark. Jonathan rushes into the room and sees Alice terrified at where Schaffe was. Jonathan looks and sees what going on and sees Schaffe's eyes glaring at him the only thing he sees in the dark.
"Fool?" asked Jonathan. He starts to draw his blade as if he was about to fight him. But Schaffe falls forward onto his front passing out. Jonathan was more confused than before as to what was going on. He looks and sees what the man barely recognizes.
A week goes by and Schaffe is lying down in his bed passed out. He was strapped down so if he went berserk. Jonathan was in the room. Jay walks in with tea.
"What do you think what going on with him?" asked Jay.
"I have no idea, it's what Alice said it seems he snapped and his eyes beamed at me like I was his prey," said Jonathan.
"I have no idea his eyes changed?" said Jay with confusion. They watch as his eyes open revealing their red color. Jonathan waits with caution.
"What the bloody hell is this?" asked Schaffe wondering why he was tied up.
"You have been out for a week," said Jay, who looked at his eyes.
"What's wrong with you, Jay?" asked Schaffe. Jonathan gets a hand mirror of a dresser in his right hand and places it in front of Schaffe's face so he can see his eyes.
"What the?" questioned looking at them.
"Do you remember what happened?" asked Jonathan.
"No, I only remember entering the room and getting stuck and everything else is black," said Schaffe.
"I see, it's for the better then, but if I have to guess it seems the demon hunter has become the demon," said Jonathan.
"What that impossible," said Schaffe.
"Well, how you slaughtered that madman tells me another story," said Jonathan.
