After the long so-called vacation, everyone was back to their normal life. The case with Mrs. Smith was still unsolved even though it's been so long since the terrifying event.
This time, Cindy reached work early and thanked Mark for helping her with a bouquet and fruit basket. After meeting Mark, Cindy went straight to Alex to check up on him. She took a deep breath and knocked on his door. From inside Alex answered, "Come in".
Cindy: How are you holding up?
Seeing her Alex smiled unconsciously, "Never been better".
Cindy: Are you eating and taking the medicines properly?
Alex nodded gently, "I do take it timely but I forget sometimes, can you remind me?"
Cindy: Alright.
Cindy cleared her throat and looked away, "I'm just asking you cause Aunt Carla told me to do so."
Alex: Yeah, I know.
Cindy looked at him in disappointment, "oh, that's great".
Alex: What?
Cindy: Nothing, I'll check up on you later.
Right after Cindy left, Alex laughed uncontrollably, "So cute".
Meanwhile after closing the door behind her, Cindy walked away in anger, "He really thinks I don't care about him and I'm just doing it cause his mom told me to do so!? I hate him so much!"
She walked to her desk and dropped on her chair.
Seeing her fuming with anger, Lucy asked timidly, "Are you alright?"
Cindy: yeah, I'm fine.
Lucy: oh.
They both went silent. Cindy thought it would be rude if she doesn't say anything else.
Cindy: What are you watching in your phone?
Lucy: Oh, it's a news on fake lawyers.
Cindy: Wow, there are lawyers who are faking their job?
Lucy: Apparently, they go for people who doesn't know much about court and take a lot of money from them.
Cindy: That's disgusting.
Lucy: I know right? Some even faked to be a divorce lawyer. Now that they are caught, so many victims came to know their divorce was fake and they're still married.
Cindy: That is so messed up, did they put out the names of these frauds?
Lucy: Yeah they caught around 6 frauds. Wait I'll send you the link.
Cindy: Thanks.
Cindy read through the article appreciating how well written it was when suddenly her eyes fell on one specific name. Her eyes got bigger from shock, she couldn't believe that she would have to see this name in the name of frauds.

In Ultraviolet records, Matthew sat idly staring at the ceiling when someone knocked on his door.
Matthew: Come in.
Charles walked in, "Miss Davis is here, she wants to have some words with you".
Matthew: Let her in.
After a while Melissa walked in, "Hey, why aren't you picking up my calls?"
Matthew pouted, "I don't even know who you are".
Melissa: Oh, really? So you go around and cry holding strangers?
Matthew jumped up from his chair, "YOU PROMISED ME YOU'LL NEVER TALK ABOUT IT!!"
Seeing him reacting like this Melissa burst into a laugh, "Okay okay, I won't anymore".
Matthew: Whst brings you here?
Melissa: Uncle Ian sent me here, he wants me to talk with you about handling Smith's group.
Matthew: I already told him I changed my mind.
Melissa: You should go for it and take over the business. Or else someone else will.
Matthew: What do you mean?
Melissa: you weren't picking up his calls. He told me to tell you that your cousin Andrew is trying his best to take over the business. Uncle Ian is against it but if you don't agree to it he will have no choice but to hand it over.
