After 2 weeks of staying in the hospital, Alex has finally discharged. He took a deep breath taking in all the fresh air. Matthew already left 4 days ago leaving everyone in China, he couldn't stand Alex being pampered by Cindy.
Cindy wore a beautiful sundress as the weather was too hot for pants and wore sunglasses. Her hair was clipped up in a messy bun. She put on a light makeup which grabbed Alex's attention, "You wore makeup today?"
Her face turned from embarrassment, "Yeah...why? Does it look bad?"
Alex gently shook his head, "mhm it looks good. You're much better at it than you were before".
Hearing his remark her face turned even more red, "I was a kid shut up!"
Alex tried to hold in his laugh and smiled, "Sure thing". Cindy glanced at his sunkissed face. Alex wore a light blue shirt with light brown pants his hair brushed away from his face making his features visible.
Cindy coughed trying not to fall for him again, "our flight is day after tomorrow at 6pm, there weren't any seat available for tomorrow."
Alex: What!? We'll only stay for one day?
Cindy: You wanna stay longer?
Alex murmured, "I spent all my days here in hospital..."
Cindy: Awww really?
Alex nodded like a little kid.
Cindy gave a bright smile, "We've been staying here for 15 days".
Alex's puppy face disappeared instantly, he could sense this isn't the smile he wants right now.
Cindy continued, "Do you know how much we have spent in hospital and hotel? Kids were throwing tantrums for which we visited few places here. I know it's not fair for you but I don't think we have enough money, Alex".
Alex smiled happily and replied, "As you wish".
Even though this trip was a waste for him, he was happy that Cindy was with him leading everything. You can say he likes to keep her on top sometimes...
Cindy: But till we are here, we will go to as many places as we can.
She smiled brightly making Alex's heart skip a beat, "Are you ready for it?"
Alex: As long as you are.
Suddenly Cindy's phone rang, it was Melissa.
Melissa spoke loudly as it was crowded, "Where are you? I've reached the amusement park, we're in the ticket counter. It's way too crowded today".
Cindy: I'm on my way.
Melissa: ok hurry!
Cindy hung up the phone, "Let's go".

Despite the crowd, they could find Melissa quite easily. Alex walked with his hands a bit around Cindy so that no one can bump against her. "Let's start with the roller coaster!", said Melissa excitedly. Cindy looked at Alex, "Will you be okay?" Alex stared at her in surprise and thought, 'she still remembers it?'
Alex nodded, "I'll be fine". Cindy smiled back and replied to Melissa, "Roller Coaster it is".
They enjoyed every ride and looked like a happy family.
Owen: My legs hurt so bad.
Alex: wanna get on my shoulder?
Owen joyfully replied, "Yes yes!!"
Alex easily picked him up and put him on his shoulder as if he is weightless.
Owen: Mom look how tall I am!
Cindy laughed cheerfully seeing him so happy.
Olivia pulled Cindy's dress, "mom, my legs are aching too."
Cindy: ok sweety, I'll pick you up.
Four of them smiled happily as Melissa sneakily clicked a beautiful picture of them.
