Melissa: Where is Cindy!?
Alex flipped out and slammed his fist on the wall, "THEY KIDNAPPED HER AND OLIVIA!" his knuckles got bloody in seconds.
Her face turned pale from fright, her heart was pounding fast as she hugged Owen tightly.
Alex murmured, "She is innocent... why is she facing all this when the enemy is her husband's!?" He didn't want her to be here since the very beginning as she could've been one of the target for being Matthew's wife.
In a low voice, Melissa apologized, "it's all my fault... I shouldn't have been stubborn". Tears rolled down her cheeks as she clenched on to Owen tightly.
Alex: You stay with Owen in the hotel, and I'll make sure he is safe.
Melissa looked up to see Alex who tried to be sane but was failing, "I'm sorry..."
Alex answered firmly without accepting her apology, "You are not at fault. I know how much you care for her".
Melissa: Your knuckles...
Alex: It's nothing.
While going back to Mark, they met Matthew on their way. He was looking everywhere searching for the face he loved the most.
Melissa called him out. He heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Owen, "Thank goodness, you all found them. Where is she?"
His eyes fell on Alex's bloody knuckles, "What happened?" Melissa and Alex kept their eyes on the ground, they couldn't look into his eyes. Matthew's face darkened, "Where is Cindy?"
Alex: Davis kidnapped her.
Matthew: !!
Matthew's mind was filled with rage and thirst for revenge. First he lost his mother and now the woman he adored so much.

Inside the van, Cindy laid there unconsciously, beside her Olivia whimpered trying to wake her up. She couldn't talk as the kidnappers wrapped a cloth around her mouth. Tears rolled down as she tried to push Cindy's unconscious body with her head.
After a while, Cindy's eyes fluttered. She slowly opened it, her vision still blurry from the drug. Her head was still spinning till she took a grasp of herself. Right after waking up, she started looking around for her kids. Seeing she woke up, Olivia jumped on her and hugged her tightly as she wailed her eyes out. Cindy's eyes were filled with tears seeing Olivia likes this, she tried to keep her composure and gestured Olivia that everything will be alright.
After a while, the van came to a halt and someone opened the door. Due to sudden bright light, Cindy and Olivia shut their eyes tightly. Cindy slowly opened her eyes to take a peek,she could only see a fair skinned man wearing a mask and a cap before he tied her eyes with a cloth and proceeded to do the same to Olivia.
The kidnapper stuttered while talking, "Come, follow me. No running away." Hearing his broken english and accent, Cindy could deduce it's a chinese man who didn't know english. She could feel the nervousness from his voice, from which she concluded, he is just an amateur hired by the main culprit behind it. For now, Cindy followed his orders and replied, "Don't do anything to my daughter", they couldn't understand what she said as they weren't english speaker and a cloth was wrapped around her mouth.
The guy didn't pay much attention and signaled another kidnapper to pick up Olivia.
Olivia tried to shout and resist the guy, which angered the guy. He raised his hand and slapped her hard in the face. Hearing the crisp sound of slap, Cindy lost her sanity. She pushed the guy holding her hard in a corner and kicked the other guy's hip making him fall. She ran to Olivia and caressed her face with hers trying to assure they will be saved soon. The kidnappers violently got on their feet and hit Cindy hard several times making her weak. Cindy knew some tactics in martial art but she still wasn't strong enough to endure the hits. Once she lost her power, they proceeded to hold them captive in a warehouse.
