Chapter 60 - Rescue (I)

Cindy's eyes widened from surprise, it's been over 10 years since that incident. They were rebellious teenagers, moreover, now he can get any woman he wants. Why was he still holding onto that? During their highschool days, Alex had to fight many guys for Cindy. Even though Cindy loved him so much, boys were always attracted to her facade delicate nature.

It seems like Wilson was one of the boys who Alex fought for Cindy.

Wilson bent down trying to not look into her ocean eyes, "I didn't want our first meeting to be like this after all these years... but this was the only way for me to see you."

He paused and desperately gazed into Cindy's eyes, "I can help you out of here in one condition."

After reaching SN records, Matthew quickly went to President's office, "Yang Hai, make it quick."

Yang Hai stopped what he was doing and buttoned his blazer after getting up, "Follow me."

He quickly took Matthew to the helipad where his chopper was already set to go. Matthew and 4 of his men got on it, "See you later man."

Yang Hai: Tell me everything after you return.

Matthew nodded.

Yang Hai and others stepped aside from the helipad as it flew away.

Matthew got on video call with Charles to specify the location. A perfect map of Nanchang city appeared on his screen.

Charles: You see these mountainous area by the railroad? They've hidden her here inside an abandoned mansion. I'm assuming it's hidden from public eye, not many people visited that place. We'll have to get down first then go by car as there's no place to land the chopper.

Charles Richard has been assisting Matthew for fifteen years now. Matthew was just 8 years old when he started to get the training on high-society life and how to manage a business. Charles has always guided Matthew in every factor and managed everything single handedly. Matthew always respected him as he was the only one who believed in Matthew's decision to start Ultraviolet records.

As usual, Matthew was satisfied with the plan.

In a low voice he called out, "Charles..."

Charles: Yes, Young master.

Matthew: Thank you.

Charles could understand what he was going through, "It's gonna be alright." Matthew smiled faintly and ended the call.

500 meters away, Alex and Mark peeked through binoculars from behind a chimney directly toward the warehouse. The special force already eliminated the guards walking around the area without giving any hint to the people inside the warehouse. It didn't take much time for Alex and Mark to reach there.

Alex: let's move in.

Mark nodded.

Meanwhile, inside the warehouse, Wilson sat silently in front of Cindy tapping his thumbs. Cindy sat there confused as it's been five minutes since he said he'll let her go in one condition. Finally, he looked up and proceeded, "Marry me". Cindy controlled her reaction and replied, "You know who is the little girl that you've locked in the dark cell?"

She pointed toward the dark grey heavy metal gate. "I'm her mother. My other child is probably scared to death on the bathroom floor, if no one found him yet."

Wilson: I know who they are. I'm ready to take their responsibility.

Cindy's face darkened, "I won't give a man responsibility of my kids who abducted me and my child!"

The corner of Wilson's lips lifted up in a smirk, "Still as bold as ever. You know I can do it right now by force right?"

Cindy: I know how petty you can get. Couldn't get the girl with your terrible personality now you're using your power? Which stupid movie were you watching?

Even though Cindy was sounding bold outside but from the inside, she was scared. She tried to buy time for herself to escape or at least someone to come and save them.

Wilson: I'll give you some time to think about it.

Wilson left afterward without saying another word, leaving the guards to keep an eye on her.

Ten minutes has passed and suddenly a thud was heard. She looked over there and saw one of the guard lying on the floor, a tranquilizer dart on his neck. She smiled brightly as tears rolled down her face.
