Carla kept an eye on Alexander's car from the balcony and saw Cindy walk to it. Cindy hesitated a bit and sat on the passenger seat.
Alex: sit on the front seat.
Cindy: what?
Alex: sit on the front seat. It feels like I'm your driver.
Cindy: Then driver, you should hurry we're getting late.
Alex clenched his teeth then smiled wickedly.
Alex: Fine, we'll stay here.
Cindy: what!?
Cindy calmed herself down, "Let's see how long you can wait here".
Alex: I'm well known in the office for being punctual whereas you are well known for being late. If I'm late one day Boss will forgive me. What are you gonna do?
Alex looked behind and smiled at her. Cindy clenched her fist, she could just beat him black and blue now. She was bursting from anger which turned into stress when she saw the time. It was already 7:45, she only had 30 minutes. In a speed light, she got out and sat on the front seat.
Cindy: DRIVE RIGHT NOW!
Alex: seatbelt.
Cindy quickly put on her seatbelt.
Alex: buckle up.
Alex revved his car and pressed on accelerator. He drove fast but didn't cross the speed limit. Cindy held on to her seat tightly, she will puke any moment. Alex drove swiftly and soon they were in front of office. As soon as the car stopped Cindy rushed out and puked beside a bush.
Alex handed a water bottle to her,"Are you alright?" Cindy glared at him and snatched the bottle. She chucked in almost all the water.
Cindy: ARE YOU INSANE!? WHAT IF WE GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT!? YOU MIGHT NOT CARE FOR ANYONE BUT I HAVE PEOPLE TO LIVE FOR!
Alexander's smile turned into a cold expression.
Alex: You should not blame me without knowing the truth.
Cindy: The truth!? What truth!? You sleeping with another woman on our Anniversary!?
Alex: I DID NOT SLEEP WITH ANYONE!
Cindy was stunned, it was first time he ever shouted at her.
Cindy: Wish I was blind that night, but I could see everything crystal clear. You sleeping soundly with her.. lipstick marks on your chest.. hickeys on her body.. ugh I hate that image the most yet I remember it vividly.
Alex: Cindy it wasn't-
Cindy: NO, I don't want to hear any excuses anymore. Please stay away from me.
Cindy walked in the office in anger while Alex stood there by the main gate. He got in the car and pressed between his eyebrows. He started the car and went to the parking lot.

In this hot summer, Melissa wore a pitch black hoodie, mask and dark sunglasses; she looked like a wanted criminal trying to hide from police. She looked everywhere and slowly walked into the building. She tried to stay in disguise but instead was the most noticeable person.
Watchkeeper: Excuse me, why are you here?
Melissa jumped in surprise,'shit!'
Melissa: I came here to meet the president..
Watchkeeper: what is your identity? We need to call him first for his safety.
Melissa: Tell him Layla is here, he'll know.
Watchkeeper looked doubtfully and called. After a moment he hung up the call.
Watchkeeper: you can go, his office is on the 8th floor.
Melissa smirked and replied,"Thanks!"
