Matthew couldn't take it anymore, he accelerated the car. Speed is 100 km/h in the heavy rain. Cindy looked at him, her eyes filled with fear. She held on tight to her seat.
Cindy: Matthew stop! We'll crash!
The car drifted on the wet road and came to a sudden halt. Matthew gripped tightly on steering wheel while Cindy tried to catch her breath. She almost puked for the sudden rush.
Cindy: What the hell is wrong with you!?
Matthew flipped out at Cindy for the first time.
Matthew: you are asking me what's wrong!? Since the time you met Alex you couldn't even get him off your mind and you're asking me!?
I hate it when you talk about him Cindy! Can't you see I love you so much!?
Cindy was speechless, she held her skirt tightly and looked down, "Matthew, I already told you, you're just my friend and I can't go more than that."
Matthew leaned his head on steering wheel, "get out".
Cindy: what?
Matthew: get out of the car.
Cindy was surprised, "fine". Cindy got out of car and Matthew drove away instantly.
It was still raining heavily, the sky was getting darker while Cindy stood there alone on the road. "When will it stop? when will I be happy again?" Cindy said to herself. Few minutes later, a silver car stopped in front of her, it was Alex. She almost burst in tears. 'I would've hugged him if we were still like before.'
Cindy kept her guards up.
Cindy: what do you want?
Cindy said coldly even though her voice was shaking for standing under the rain for so long.
Alex: get in.
Cindy: no.
Alex: I'm sorry for what happened previously but get in now please, you'll catch cold.
Cindy hesitated a little and got in.
Matthew felt restless for what he did, he took a U-turn and saw Alexander's car. His eyes widened when he saw Cindy on the front seat. He stopped his car abruptly and got out. He could only hear the sound of the rain and what Cindy said. He fell on his knees and screamed his lungs out. "I'm going crazy!"

Melissa walked in the kitchen eating peanut.
Melissa: where is Cindy and Alex?
Eva: I don't know, Cindy was still at the cemetery, Matthew went there to get her.
Melissa: it's raining heavily I hope they are fine.
Eva: is it salted?
Melissa: hm? Yeah, you want some?
Eva: obviously
The door bell rang, Olivia rushed to open the door.
Olivia: coming!
Olivia opened the door, "what happened to mom!?"
