Edith was dumbfounded by his words not knowing what to say she still managed something, "Don't you think it is too fast?"
With a tinge of disappointment in his voice, "It's okay you can take your time and tell me why were you behaving like that do you even know how sly he is"
"I know, but that bastard deserves death you know. He used to do multi-timing and show June he was pure as milk but later on even June broke up with him he tried to kiss June on our college annual meet up and after that though he received a nice beating he is still here", Edith said gritting her teeth
Placing his hand on her shoulder Chris said, "Woah cool down woman you'll kill someone at this rate"
Nodding her head Edith said, "I'll take my leave now"
Stopping her Chris asked, "And how are you going home"
Looking away Edith said, "I'll hail a cab and I stay nearby anyway"
Chris shook his head and said, "I know where you stay and I'm not letting you go alone you are coming with me alright", before pulling her towards his car
Edith sighed and boarded the car

Outside
"So it's day after tomorrow, are you ready?", Liam asked
"Yeah it's only signing the certificates so I'm not that worried", June said
Liam nodded his head and said, "Hmm but after a few months let's throw a banquet, our wedding banquet"
June shook her head and said, "I think there is no need for that. I am really ok with this"
"You are okay but I'm not I want to show everyone how beautiful my wife looks in a wedding gown", Liam said smiling
June got down from the car and rushed towards the house without saying anything
Liam smiled and drove away

Outside Frank Mansion
Chris cleared his throat and said, "We are here"
Edith who was silent all the way turned towards him and said, " I think it's a good idea to date each other let's consider this our first day" saying this she gave a quick peck on his lips and rushed towards the mansion
Trying to analyze what had happened a few minutes ago Chris widened his eyes in shock and shouted, "Ed wait.."
But before he could realize Edith had already entered the mansion and was nowhere to be seen
Smiling like a fool at himself Chris got inside the car and drove away

A night before the marriage
June was packing everything she wanted. Even Edith was helping her, just then Father Hembron entered the room with a box in his hand
He smiled at his daughter and said, "I know you'll be wonderful wife as your my daughter but I want you to take care of yourself and remember June the doors of this house are always open for you"
When June smiled and nodded her head father Hembron handed over the box to her and said, "This was your mother's favorite piece of jewellery which she always wanted to give you when you were to get married"
