Eros rolled his eyes and blew a gust of air on Pride's face. The sports captain reluctantly followed the direction unto the dirt road going out of town. He sighed loudly as the sand and wet dirt latched on the body and wheels of his beloved car.
"If we don't find her by following your stupid toy necklace, I'm gonna kill you," Pride huffed.
"And if you don't help my master, I'm gonna kill you," Eros threatened as he flicked a gravel to the car's roof.
The car was forced to stop outside the foliage of trees blocking the road. A dark swirly cloud hovered over a specific patch of the woods. Though the enclosure was silent, something about the air was deafening and spine-chilling. Pride took out his trusty baseball bat from the trunk and readied a knuckleduster in the pocket of his varsity jacket.
