Just as Mickaila's consciousness was coming back to him, he slowly opened his eyes and was confronted with his system's notification screen.
Sitting up from his lying position, he was once again faced with the same cold environment of the large decaying building room.
Nothing within the room was a threat to him and the double door wrapped in poison ivy was once again shut with no one or nothing going in or coming out.
Mickaila on the other hand was feeling much better with his fatigue being lifted and his body's stress being relieved.
Looking through the screen notification, he notices that he has gained a new skill. Recalling back, it was the same skill the grim reaper used when he was still controlling the warrior knight leader but the memories about what he has done during the time his body wasn't in his control was still a blur, the only thing he remembered was recalling his past memories and being clouded in anger.
The more he thought, the more of a headache he had but nevertheless he was happy to gain a new skill even if he couldn't recollect the full extent of what happened. [Nice!] He smiled to himself as he stood back on his two feet, regaining his strength and was ready to carry on his unfinished battle.
Heading his way towards the double door covered in poison ivy, Mickaila took another attempt to open it and this time there was no one in his way to stop him.

Pushing the door harder, Mickaila soon comes to see the other side.

Looking through what seems like a dark tunnel full of mysterious creatures living from within, Mickaila took a deep breath and made his first step forward.

Luckily for Mickaila, the dark didn't bother him anyway, since his eyesight was better than average that even in the darkest environment, he could see through it clearly. And this skill he has inherited since birth actually helped him when escaping the grasps of his brother along with his friends at night during school time. Although there were some mocking remarks about his unusual abilities, nevertheless, it was an ability he was happy to get inherited with since it saved him so many times. (I wish I had the same ability 😂).

Scanning through the long desalute tunnel, no movement was heard, but still Mickaila felt uneasy. He felt several eyes watching him from afar but the exact location wasn't known.

Few steps further in, Mickaila felt like at every corner he turned, he was constantly being faced with the same dry and dull muddy tunnel once again with no light presenting an exit.

Sounds of several creatures breathing were heard from above.

Slowly looking up from his current position, he was shocked with what he sees next...

Several creatures with ruby red eyes stared down upon the weak looking human standing in the middle of their den.

Stretching out their dark and mysterious wings....

With a high pitch sound wave from one of these hidden creatures, the rest began to prepare their attack, stretching out their wings and began to flap their way towards Mickaila...

The herd came in like a hurricane within the pitch black tunnel, but with his high senses and sight, he was able to make out the creatures to be a one of a kind extinct poisonous bats only seen in encyclopedias of extinct creatures. [Who knew they still existed?] He said amazed, [oh wait, this is within the portal so nothing goes as expected.] Says Mickaila as he comes to understand how the impossible can become possible within this world.
The bats began to surround Mickaila whilst they kept on flapping their wings, producing a wind that blew coldly at Mickaila.
But soon this wind turned deadly, with the speed of the bats increasing, the colder it got, but not just that. There was a more concerning matter...
The bats have begun their attack.
Like it was invisible, Mickaila unknowingly started bleeding from place to place.
Getting bitten, getting scratches. Injuries were evidently made on his body but the bats were too fast for him to kill off one by one taking into account their small frame.
Even if Mickaila detected them in time, it is still unknown whether he has the ability to kill them one at a time whilst his body is under severe condition.
Strong bat poison is detected, detox is now active.|
But still, even with the detox skill being activated, it would not go anywhere unless Mickaila stops the attack from the herd of bats or else he'll die.

[Tsk... As if I didn't know that!] Mickaila scolded angrily to himself or more specifically aiming at the system who stated the obvious.
His body temperature began to pick up, knowing his condition had already begun to worsen, he knew there wasn't enough time.
[What are bats scared off?] He questioned himself in the midst of a blurry mind.
[Oh, I got it] he smiled.

With both hands holding to a sharp bladed sword, one in each hand covered with the flames that can extinguish any evil, it roared aggressively in the midst of battle, as the bats dissipated from Mickaila's position, not wanting to aggravate the flames within Mickaila's hands.
Their ruby red eyes stared down on Mickaila as his head became more dizzier.
Knowing that he cannot collapse just yet, he collected all his courage and took the necessary steps to get out of such a ruin.
Slashing his swords around the hurricane that was built up by the bats, they easily caught on fire and began to dissipate whilst the wind power weakened with the amount of bats killed.
But still, the bats wouldn't give up and kept on attacking and for some reason it was like there was a never-ending comrades of bats awaiting for their opportunity to attack Mickaila.
It was like a never-ending battle unless Mickaila could find a way out or burn the whole tunnel down but if he does that, he'll burn along with the tunnel as well so it wasn't a good idea.
"Tsk... Why don't you all just go away." Mickaila said angrily.
But still, nothing changed. The attack carried on...
"Fine... Then don't blame me with what would happen next." Mickaila smiled menacingly.
