As soon as Allen let go of her hand, Stella crouched down with her head in her hands, mumbling, "Oh my god, what did I do? Oh my god!"
Allen crouched down and Stella looked at him, "I didn't hurt anybody? Did I?"
Allen sighed, "If you don't count yourself."
It was then that Stella realised that pieces of glass were stuck in her hand with which she had been gripping the glass. Blood and chocolate shake was mixed together and oozing down.
Stella looked at Allen in horror and hid her hand behind her back. Allen helped her stand up, "Don't worry. My thirst is not that much. And I'm not an animal like those five monsters."
Stella shook her head, "I just don't want you to tempt to taste human blood. June told me that it's very difficult to resist once you have tasted it."
Allen hit her lightly on the head as he smiled, "Stupid shortcake. Thinking about other people. Come on, let's get you home."
Stella shook her head, "We need to get this bandaged."
Allen: "We'll call Simon."
Stella just said one word, "Sharp." And Allen realised what was going on in her mind.
She was not worried about herself, she was worried about that damn Den. There was no denying the fact that she had heard their conversation, or at least, part of it.
Allen put her unhurt arm around his shoulders and said, "The let's find a nice clinic and get this all cleaned up, okay?"
As Stella was riding on Allen back during the ride back to Den's cottage, he said, "So shortcake, will you tell me that that was all about?"
Stella was quiet a moment before she said, "Remember how I said I was afraid to let my emotions take over?"
Allen: "Yeah?"
Stella: "Well, when we mentioned the Zukao brothers, the memories of those two months resurfaced. I tried to push them down, but they got the better of me."
Allen: "So all that happened because you were agitated?"
Stella: "Afraid will be the right word for it. But yeah, whenever I feel any strong emotions and they take over my rational mind, I do things like that. And I can't even remember what I did."
Allen: "If you can't even remember what you did, how do you know you caused damage?"
Stella rolled her eyes and said, "Well I'm not blind when I come to my senses. I can see things turned over, someone hurt, like this....." She tried to put up her bandaged hand but gripped Allen quickly back with it.
"And I can see people looking at me like I'm a freak." She finished, her voice now the usual childish banter.
Allen said in a strange voice, "You really are weird."
Stella chuckled, "You'll be surprised at how many times I've heard that statement over my eighteen years of life."
The two of them soon arrived at the cottage and Stella had barely climbed down from Allen's back when a sharp wind blew by her and the next moment Allen was on the ground, June over him.
She hugged him a long time, mumbling, "I was so afraid. I thought something had happened to you?" Before she heard Allen chuckling and took hold of his collar, howling, "What the hell were you doing?"
