That night Tony dreamt that he had scored a hat trick against united and celebrated as the fans shouted his name. And just when he was about to receive his very first match ball from the referee he woke up to discover that it was a dream.
He told Rose about his ambitious dream and how it was cut short before he suddenly woke up. Rose had a fit of laughter at his expense as she laughed at his almost complete dream.
"You can definitely score a hat trick in most of the academy matches if you were a little bit more efficient and saw more opportunities to shoot on goal. And having other better creative players alongside you can always help" Rose expressed her thoughts to Tony as he was performing his morning exercises.
Exercises would help him in improving his body better and gradually give him more energy and make him fitter to perform more strenuous activities.
When he was done with his exercises he quickly showered and went downstairs to have his breakfast with his family. It was a Saturday and his family said they were going to definitely go to United's academy stadium to watch the derby match.
When It was close to the time for the team to meet up, Tony got into the car and quickly drove to pick John up before they drove to the academy and joined the other players in the team bus.
On there way to the United Academy stadium, most of the players were a little anxious and both Tony and John were included as they were both very anxious. Due to the fact that this was both of thier first experiences in a manchester derby match.
The united academy stadium was very close so they got to the stadium quickly and began to get ready for the match as they warmed up and went back to the locker rooms to dress up and prepare for kick off.
"I hope all of us can remember the arrangements for the match as we have been preparing throughout the week for it, so just go out there and give a proper account of yourselves." Coach Taylor reminded the players of the tactical arrangements and gave them some other relaxing words to rest the nerves of the players.
When it was almost time the players all went to the tunnel leading to the stadium and waited for the referee to give the signal to enter the pitch for the match formalities.
Rose used her system scanner and checked on the skills of the united players that were to start the match while they waited on the referee.
'Wow!! we finally found a player with an A grade skill.' Rose suddenly used her voice to shout excitedly in Tony's mind.
"Wonderful!" Tony actually shouted out loud as some of the players around him awkwardly looked at him like he had lost his mind. He just coughed and smiled back to the players who were looking at him and continued to mind his business.
'uhh! what skill does the player have' Tony quickly asked as he was surprised to hear that a youth player had an A grade skill, as most of the good players in an academy he had seen would have few B skills and the remaining skills would be a combination of C and D grade skills.
Tony guessed that even a very good senior player of the senior teams may just have very few A skills and the remaining would be a mixture of B and C skills. This showed how good the player with the A grade skill would be as he was the only player Tony had seen with an A grade skill so far.
He had not been to a live Premier league game since he had the system and had not yet come in contact with a senior player in the academy , so he could not yet confirm the skills an average player of a senior team had.
'A central midfielder of United has a passing skill of A-, with a match condition of achieving two assists from the match and Man City also winning the match.' Rose excitedly explained as it was obvious that she also wanted to see how good an A skill would be when Tony had it.
'Thats wonderful, I can't wait for the match to begin.' Tony said as he rubbed his hands and bounced up on his feets a little to warm up as he continued to wait on the line up.
'You have to ensure you make two assists. But if you don't achieve that condition, there also other good skills like a Longshot skill of B+ and another player with a Free kick skill of B-. Both skill have conditions to copy respectively of winning the game and making a goal or assist in the match.' Rose mind communicated to Tony about the other available skills from the united players.
'That would just feel like a downgrade from the A- skill, but i have also been looking for an opportunity to improve my Longshots. I think that could be an effective and easy way to scoring goals especially against overly defensive teams and in difficult matches.'
Tony expressed his thoughts to Rose as they continued to mind communicate, as the referee looked at his watch before he signaled and the players all went into the stadium for the match formalities to begin
The atmosphere was more intense than Tony had ever felt in a match he had been involved in at the academy. The fans in the stadium were very many and would definitely be close to three thousand as the stadium was also almost filled up.
They were supporters of both teams in the stands as both teams were situated in the same town and the distance for the Man City fans was not a problem for them to make the trip. The united fans voices were a little bit higher than that of the City fans as both team fans cheered on there respective teams as they walked onto the pitch.
Both teams just loved winning against the other as could be observed by the number of fans who had come to watch the match.
When the match formalities were finally done and both teams took their respective positions on the pitch, the United players finally began the match with a kick off after the referee blew his whistle
