Justin held Jamey's hand as they both cross the street, Jamey annoyed, sighed quietly. Though Justin didn't notice it.
Justin's mind was wondering to Liam. Hem and Liam were planning to go to the movies, while Jamey was at Angelica's house.
Justin didn't trust Eugene to take care of Jamey while he was out. "Papa, do you want to get rid of me?" Justin stops right in his tracks, making Jamey have to walk back.
"Jamey, why would you think that?" Justin asked, astonished that Jamey would even think that about Justin. Jamey shrugged, walking to the other side of the street.
"You are always so happy to get rid of me," Jamey says shyly. Justin walks to the other side of the street, sadly smiling at his son.
"Jamey, look at me," Justin starts, lifting Jamey's chin to look at him.
"Jamey, I would never want to get rid of you. You are one of the only things that make me happy." Justin says as Jamey smiles.
"Now, how about I take you to somewhere fun!" Justin says excitedly. "Like a fun trip Like we used to do!" Jamey says, more excitedly than Justin.
Justin smiles at his son's enthusiasm. "Exactly," Justin says turning back around. He takes out his phone to call Liam to cancel.
"Hey, Jy-Pie. Are you on your way?" Liam asks as Justin sighed. "Hey, something happened, Jamey wants to have a fun trip," Justin says, walking down the street, and into central park.
"Yeah, well there's this trampoline park that also has a restaurant if you want to meet there?" Liam asks as Justin looked down at an excited Jamey.
Justin smiled, looking at his son's eyes, how they were just like his. "Uh, yeah that would be fine. I'll meet you there." Justin says.
He turns around to face Jamey. "Hey Jamey, I have a surprise. Follow me." Justin says, typing the coordinates onto his phone.
Jump World
"Jamey, meet a friend of mine, Liam. Liam, meet Jamey." Justin says, letting the two talk as he went to pay for the tickets.
"Hi, Jamey," Liam says, crouching to meet Jamey's height. Jamey waved at the older man, shifting his weight from one foot to the other.
"Hi, Mr. Liam," Jamey says awkwardly. Liam laughs at the name, shaking his head. "Liam's fine kid. I don't want to sound like an old person." Liam says smiling.
Jamey holds out his hand politely, waiting for Liam to shake. Liam however, hesitantly lifted his hoodie sleeve, revealing his scarred hands.
He shook Jamey's smooth ones, not wanting to shift the focus on something else. "I know, I know. I look like a chewed avocado." Liam says sarcastically.
Though Jamey must have not got the sarcasm, because he just shakes his head, looking innocently at Liam.
"No, you don't. You look nice to me." Jamey says, smiling at the man. Liam shocked, only laughed at the kind child.
Liam moved into the light a bit, showing part of his face to Jamey. Though Jamey gave him a thumbs up. "Looks good to me." He says nicely.
"Thank you, but I still look like an avocado," Liam says smiling.
Jamey chuckles at the small joke, watching his Father walk back over to him. Justin hands Jamey a purple wristband, Jamey wrapping it on his wrist.
"Ok, we have one hour and thirty minutes to play, let's get a move on," Justin says, smiling at the duo. Liam stood up from his crouched position, holding Jamey's hand.
Justin smiled at himself, happy that his friend and son liked each other. They walked into the main area, filled with multiple trampoline areas.
Justin looked at his son, seeing how eager he was to let go of Liam's hand and play. Justin missed that part of his son he never got to see.
"Alright, I and Liam will order food, while you," Justin says, pointing to Jamey. "Go play." He ends, watching his son hesitantly run into an obstacle course.
"In here," Liam says pointing to an open area that seemed to be connected to the building beside the trampoline park.
Justin followed Liam, watching as he walked him, instantly smiling at one of the ladies.
"Hey Jayden, I was hoping you could give us a seat. Oh, and tell your Dad I said hi." Liam says smiling at one of the ladies.
She had curly black hair and was brown-skinned. She was small, with diamond earrings. Though based on her sweatshirt, she didn' want to be seen as rich.
"Mr. Liam Wilson. Back again so soon?" She asks grabbing two menus from behind her. "Three menus please, one of the kids." He says smiling at the young girl.
She raised her eyebrow at him before looking at Justin smirking. "Damn already. Jeez, I knew you were a player Mr. Wilson but really."
Justin looked at her, not understanding the joke. Liam rubbed his neck awkwardly, and Justin's eyes went wide, actually understanding.
"Oh. OH! Uh, no he's mine, not Liam's." Justin says politely to Jayden. She smiles at him, nodding her head.
"I understand. I'm guessing your Mr. Parker, he's talked a lot about you. If he brings you here, it proves that he loves you." She whispers to Justin.
'
Justin laughs it off, however, knowing Liam couldn't love him. She walks out of the little booth, smiling at the duo. "Follow me." She says simply.
She takes a right into the actual restaurant, stopping in front of a cleaned table. Liam and Justin sit down, Jayden walking to the kitchen.
"So question, what do you want to eat. You seem to know your place around here so I'll get whatever you get." Justin says, glancing at the menu.
"Chimichanga."
"Excuse me, what?" Justin asks, not understanding what Liam just said. "We're getting a Chimichanga." Liam says flipping through the menu."
"What's a Ch-" Justin starts, but gets cut off by Liam showing Justin the menu.
On it was a burrito which was fried. Justin read the description, raising an eyebrow at Liam. "Deep-fried? Really?" Justin says skeptically.
"What? You don't know the half of it. Theirs are delicious. It deserves to be judged by the mean chef dude." Liam says.
As soon as Liam stops talking, Justin's eyes go wide. He stumbles out of his seat, running out of the restaurant.
Liam runs after him, watching as he goes into the men's bathroom. He follows, opening the door and hearing crying.
Not wanting anyone to walk in, he locks the door. He walks into each stall, trying to find the boy.
"Jy? Jy, what did I say?" Liam asks, opening the last stall and seeing the man, in a ball crying.
Liam instantly runs over to the boy, hugging him tightly. "Jy talk to me, what happened?" He asks, Justin laying his hand on Liam's chest.
"Eugene used to say that. When he talked about my cooking, but now he's......…. He's." Justin starts, though he breaks down into sobs.
Liam, confused by what happened to Eugene. "He's different," Justin says quietly. Liam looks at Justin, having a sad smile on his face.
"Tell me what happened. Tell me everything." Liam says, looking into Justin's red and puffy eyes. "Okay," Justin says, hugging Liam.
Later That Night
'I swear to god, I am going to kill that man." Liam grumbled as he paced back and forth in the parking lot. Justin told him everything.
And by everything he means everything. Including how Eugene bullied him before they got together, and now.
"Please don't," Justin begged to lean next to the building. They decided to go outside to talk.
"Justin, why don't you divorce him?" Liam says, walking up to Justin with angered eyes. Justin looked at him and sighed.
"Eugene is crazy, if I did divorce him, he's going to kill me, or something worse." Justin worried. Liam nodded, somewhat understanding where Justin is coming from.
"Justin, please. I care about you. Call me if something bad happens. If you need a place to stay ok." Liam says, laying both of his hands on Justin's shoulder.
Justin nods, smiling. "Thank you for understanding, and I will. Oh and here's a token for your worries." Justin says smiling, handing him a back door key.
"Just in case," Justin says as Liam grabs the key, placing it on his key ring.
Liam sighs, walking back and forth again. "Whatever, J. It's been an hour. We should probably," Liam starts, pointing his thumb at the door.
Justin nods, walking up to the door. "Yeah, and food." He says smiling. Justin walked in, followed by Liam.
Justin went into the trampoline park, trying to find his son from the sidelines.
Justin sighed as Liam grabbed his hand.
"Well, I guess the only way to find him is….." Liam starts, before pulling him only one of the trampoline squares. "Jumping!" Liam says loudly.
Laughing, Justin jumped from the trampoline square, jumping higher and higher. "Let's race," Liam says smiling. Justin looked back skeptically.
"We need to find Jame," Justin says as he went back to looking, though Liam pulled him close. "One race, please." He says quietly.
Justin thought for a moment, before sighing. "Fine, let's race to find Jamey, whoever wins has to buy ice cream," Justin says smiling.
Liam smiled at his friend's deal. "Ok! Three, two..... ONE!" Liam says, jumping quickly to one side of the trampoline park, while Justin jumped to the other side.
Justin quickly found Jamey, him knowing which places Jamey would hang out in. He sighs laughing at Jamey's face.
"What?" Jamey asked smiling. Justin wiped the tears out of his eyes, as he waited for Liam. "Your face… it's red, like a strawberry." Justin says.
Jamey laughed at the description, before looking around Justin. Justin turned around and saw Liam gasping for breath.
"Somebody didn't find the Jame," Justin says teasingly. Liam stood up straight and walked the rest of the way towards them.
"That's unfair. He's your child." Liam says, looking towards the exit. "Ready, Freddy?" Liam says walking back towards the exit.
Justin looked at Jamey before back at Liam.
"Totally."
Present
Justin rolled his eyes at the stupid comment. "Liam and I aren't dating," Justin says, gasping for breath.
"Is that where you always go, whore. Is Jamey even mine!?!" Eugene questioned more, kneeling Justin in the stomach. He groaned, though still answered his question.
"Yes, of course,e he is. And yes me, Liam, and Jamey would hang out from time to time." Justin says. He started to get light-headed from lack of oxygen.
"Oh, Jamey to," Eugene says, suddenly calm again. He let's go of Justin's neck.
"So, riddle me this, is he just a better Dad than me?" Eugene asked, holding Justin's neck, though not enough to suffocate.
Justin stood with this question. Knowing the truthful answer.
"Yeah, yeah he is. And I don't care, at this point. I don't care how many times you hit me. He will still and forever will be ten times more of a man than you," Justin says, pointing to Eugene's chest.
"Will ever be."
Though Justin didn't know this, Liam was outside listening to everything.
