Apartments
"Welcome to my humble abode," Liam says, sliding to the left so Justin could walk in.
The apartment was nice, having a decent sized kitchen and sitting area. Though the smell is what confused Justin.
It didn't smell bad, though it did smell like fruits. Justin walked in, holding the Chick-Fila bag. He walked over to the kitchen, sitting the food on the counter.
"Sorry, about the smell, my neighbors are food entrepreneurs, so it always smells like food in here," Liam said, sitting on one of the two couches to face the tv.
Justin walks into the living area, sitting neck to Liam. "Ok, when you said you lived in an apartment, I thought it would be trashy," Justin admits, leaning back into the soft couch.
Liam gasps dramatically, placing a hand on his chest. "You think I'm trashy!" He says before collapsing on Justin's lap.
Justin laughs at Liam's Dramatic gesture, pushing Liam off the couch. "I didn't mean it like that, I just never imagine you to be the type-"
"-The type that has a nice apartment in Queens, I know it's rare." Liam shrugs, standing up and sitting back on the couch.
"I guess it's what happens when you kill people," Justin says in a funny joke, Liam's look makes his face go serious.
"J, look I don't think you understand what I do-" Liam starts, but Justin waves him off.
"I get it, Liam, you want your job to be secretive, always saying you kill people but, you can tell when your ready," Justin says, smiling at Liam.
Liam stands up, facing Justin even though he's double the size.
"No, I don't think you do. Justin when I say I kill people, I le. I'm a mercenary Justin. Remember Sister Margarets? That's where I go to get jobs." Liam explains, Justin taking in every detail.
Justin stands up to be the same height as Liam, looking at him, his breath shallow.
"W-wait, you not joking? Like….. Like you kill people?" Justin questions, his voice going quiet.
Liam's nod makes Justin's heart almost go still. Liam must have noticed because his eyes go soft.
"J, I'm sorry. I understand if you don't want to hang out anymore. I get it. Me being an Oof!!!" Liam starts, not expecting to be hugged.
"I would risk my life to hang out with you. You're my friend, understand." Justin says, grabbing Liam's face so he can look at the younger man.
"You're my best friend," Justin says smiling. Liam rolled his eyes, stepping away from the younger man, and into the kitchen.
"Hey, your chicken sandwich is in here," Liam says, calling from the kitchen. Justin rolled his eyes, at Liam's attempted to change the subject.
"I know," Justin says, walking into the kitchen. Liam was unpacking the food, sitting the sandwich, and fries on the table.
"But, technically I don't want it because I'm not hungry," Justin says though it was more of a pleading tone.
Liam turned around to look at Justin. He pointed to the food saying, "Food. Eat." Justin puffed out a breath, trudging over to the table.
He sat down, unwrapping the chicken sandwich. He made a pouting face at Liam, before taking a bite of the sandwich. Justin sighed in relief at the amazing food.
"I knew you were hungry," Liam said, leaning onto the counter, eating his fries. "Yeah, yeah," Justin mumbled, taking a bite of the burger.
Liam laughed, walking over to the fridge and opening the door. He looks through for a second before grabbing a bottle of champagne.
He closes the door, walking back over to the table, smiling at Justin. The younger male looks up at Liam, confused by the smirk.
"Tonight we party," Liam said, popping over the bottle. Justin, cleaning up his trash, rolls his eyes. "No, tonight we are going to bed," Justin says smiling at his wordplay.
Liam groaned, grabbing two wine glasses. "Just a cup." Liam bribed, and Justin sighed.
"Why the hell not, yeah. Let's do it." Justin says as Liam poured the bottle into the first glass, handing it to Justin. He then poured the second glass, raising his hand in a toast.
Tonight, at precisely 4:00 a.m, we will party until we can't party anymore. And when that happens we will party for another year." Liam says smiling,
Though the look on Justin's face makes him sigh. He lifts his cup for a second time, this time with his pinky up.
"Ok, fine. We will party like the Brits, and I have been to the U.K and they are boring. So we'll watch The Office until we fall asleep." Liam says glaring at Justin.
He laughs, clinking Liam's glass and taking a sip of the expensive Champagne.
"Because you let me stay here, let's watch your show tonight," Justin says, walking into the living room.
Liam screams in excitement as he runs into the living room, jumping next to Justin. Justin laughs, giving Liam the remote.
"What are we watching, majesty?" Justin asks, taking a sip of the champagne. Liam looks at Justin and smirks.
"Golden Girls." Justin looks at Liam confused, not knowing that show. "What's Golden Girls?" Justin asks, as Liam gasps.
"YOU DON'T KNOW GOLDEN GIRLS!?" Liam yells, Justin, having to cover his ears. Liam calmed down, though his face was still distraught.
"You uncultured swine, just wait and see," Liam says as he scrolls through the different shows, trying to find the show.
Bedtime
Justin shifted comfortably in Liam's arms. It was 6:21 and he was starting to get tired. Justin yawned again, and Liam turned off the tv.
"Ok, you know. You could have just said you were tired." Liam said jokingly. Justin rolled his eyes, still looking at the black screen.
"I didn't want to bother you," Justin says, shuffling to get more cover. Liam nodded understandingly. "I understand. But you are never a bother."
Justin nods, sighing. "Well I guess we should probably go to sleep, I'll sleep here," Justin says looking up at Liam. Though he shakes his head.
"I am not about to let you sleep on the couch," Liam says, standing to his feet. He grabs Justin's arm leading him towards a room.
"Where are we going?" Justin asks, anxious and curious. "To, a meat grinder I use to kill people," Liam says as Justin stops, letting go of Liam's hand.
He rolls his eyes sighing. "That was a joke, by the way," Liam says with a smirk. He holds his hand out, and Justin takes it.
"We're going to the bedroom," Liam says as they entered a large bedroom.
The bedroom had a nightstand on each side of the bed with a bathroom and wardrobe on the left and right.
The bed had white sheets, though the bed wasn't made. There was a huge window on the right side, the sun starting to come up.
"Sorry about the bed, but when Jamey calls about Eugene and you, making the bed wasn't a priority." Liam jokes.
Justin looked up at Liam, shocked. "Wait, you want me to sleep in here?" Justin asked skeptically. Liam nodded.
"With you?"
Another nod.
"Fine," Justin says shrugging. He knows if he goes to sleep on the couch, Liam will just move him.
Justin walked over to the right side of the bed, sitting down on it, though his feet were dangling off the edge.
" Your place is so nice," Justin says, astounded. Liam shrugs, pulling the covers out and getting into bed, Justin doing the same.
There was an awkward silence that lasts a few seconds, their brains adjusting to the new surroundings.
Justin faced the window as Liam faced the bathroom, their backs facing each other.
"Why are you so nice to me?" Justin questioned. Liam sighed, getting comfortable on his side of the bed.
"I'm just an average joe, you just haven't had enough nice in your life," Liam says as Justin laughs.
Like a meter," Justin says chuckling. Justin turned over, just as Liam did as well.
"Well, since it's like a meter," Liam starts, wrapping his arms around Justin's waist, scooting closer to him, to the point where their noses were almost touching.
"How high is it now?" Liam says, whispering like anyone else could hear their conversation.
Justin places his hand on Liam's cheek, smiling. He kisses Liam's forehead, smiling into the kiss. "Very high."
