(First Person)
When I woke up, it was 6 in the morning. I immediately started hearing the voices. I was never going to get used to this. I realized I needed to take a shower. I was very reluctant to do so, but I eventually decided I needed to.
I took off all my clothes and walked into the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw a gorgeous girl in the mirror. I sighed and went into the bathroom. When I got in, I realized that I didn't have any shampoo for girls or conditioner. I decided I would just use my men's shampoo.
When I started scrubbing with my sponge, my skin got irritated. I decided to just use my hands instead. I did not touch my crotch at all. That was a forbidden area. I was too scared to even get near it.
After I washed my hair, I realized that it had become dry again. I was sure that this was not normal hair. Other than that, everything else was fine. I just had to get used to it. I also needed to get a woman's body wash to properly clean myself.
Only after I took a shower, I realized that my headache was gone. But, I could hear more thoughts.
I quickly got ready for school. I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked like an edgy version of myself. People would still recognize me though.
The only problem I had with my disguise was my breasts. It felt like I was being suffocated. But, I had to deal with that. The real challenge was about to start.
When I got to school, people were looking at me weirdly. Socially, I was average in my school. A lot of people knew me, and I had a lot of friends.
By reading their thoughts, they did recognize me, but they were confused as to why I dyed my hair. That was good.
When I got to my classroom, the thoughts were bad. By that, I mean that there were too many. I could barely hear when someone was talking to me because there were so many thoughts.
'Oh, is that Nolan? He changed a lot over the weekend' My friend Bob thought. Bob was a great guy, probably one of my best friends.
He came up to me and said, "Hey Nolan, you sure did change your appearance a lot over the weekend,"
"Yeah, I wanted to try out something different,"
"Why does your voice sound different?"
"I have a cold"
After I told him this, we just talked for a while. As I expected, I did get bombarded with questions, but I was able to give everybody a satisfactory reason for my new appearance.
For the first few blocks, everything went smoothly. I just said I was sick, so I got excused in Gym class. But, it was time for lunch.
You can't eat food with a mask on your mouth. I decided to just eat outside. I went to a place where nobody usually goes and ate my lunch. Everything was going smoothly and I couldn't hear any thoughts. I could use thoughts as a radar to see if anybody was close to me. If I could hear a thought that was near me, I could immediately put on my mask.
But then, a girl just walked up to me without me noticing her and said, "You're a Changed, aren't you?"
