Figaro was the first to recover from Tomi's blast, groggily getting up near the edge of the forest. His head whipped around to trying to find his friend, but to know avail. He didn't want to tell Kinyuki, but he really didn't want to go back into the forest. The forest meant more monsters, more monsters mean the tower and that tower can go Heck itself to another dimension. He doesn't care even if he goes straight to Humble Village, wielding his sword and knives, and challenged every adventurer in sight, the tower is off limits and needs to be avoided.
However, his friend was in the forest, and that meant Figaro needed to nut up before things got dicey again. As he headed further into the forest, he heard more of the "Loony Fanboys" making a heck of a lot of noise. Some of the boys had monkeys on their faces, and the ones who weren't were too afraid to do anything to help their friends.
"Guess they haven't been training." Figaro muttered, before someone caught his eye.
The monkey-throwing bookkeeper was laughing up a storm, and their unconcern for everyone put Figaro in a bad mood. Though he wanted his friend's back on this one, he couldn't let this person get away with the chaos, especially if they were evil. He ran up to and pointed his sword at the bookkeeper, who was caught of guard by Figaro's presence.
"What's the big idea, you psycho? You get off on making people suffer?!" Figaro spat
"You can talk?!" The bookkeeper gaped
"Yeah and so can you, lady, so talk!" Figaro demanded.
"I-I'm not a lady at all, and I didn't do anything." The bookkeeper declared.
"You high-pitched, C-Cup bra liar!" Figaro said, smugly "I know breasts when I see 'em, even under a cloak like yours."
"High Pitch-Okay, Okay, look, you little cretin." The bookkeeper fumed, "I know what your kind wants and I'll give it to you for free."
The bookkeeper jostled around the front of their chest, immediately gaining Figaro's interest, but the bookkeeper revealed a magazine with a scantily dressed woman on it. One of the fanboys in the distance yelled for his porn to be returned, as the monkeys had gotten to it, but the bookkeeper knocked him away with a blast of light with his hands.
Figaro chuckled, "You truly think that I can be distracted by some subpar panty shots? With powers unbeknownst to you, I've seen real-wait...you ARE a woman!"
"No I'm not!" The bookkeeper lied.
"But you just used magic!"
The bottom half of the bookkeeper's face showed complete distress, at a loss for what to do in the situation. For some reason that Figaro couldn't wrap his head around, the bookkeeper wasn't attacking him, so he tried to keep his distance and wait for what might come. The now blushing bookkeeper had been looking somewhere else, before whipping her head back to Figaro.
"There's some people having sex over there." She said, pointing left of her near some bushes. "I'll tell you more but...there doing their business there and I can't focus!"
Figaro gave her an exaggerated indignant look before he stretched his tendrils out, so his body was near the bushes, just to see if she was lying. Just as the bookkeeper had said, there was a group of people, beastmen that were wearing loincloths that they had just begun to remove. Figaro's jaw went slack as he watched one deer beastman roughly fondle the breasts of his mate from behind while he nibbled at her neck. The female deer woman was panting loudly, thankfully unaware of the audience she had gained in Figaro. As he was scoping out any other participants, some of whom he'd hope were in need of an extra male, he had spotted Kinyuki far off in the distance.
Seeing his friend snapped him out of his daze and relized that the bookkeeper, though correct, probably just sneaked off while he was peeping. Sure enough, she did leave him alone, with a bunch of cowardly fanboys and monkeys jumping on their bellies. Figaro slapped his forehead with one of his tendrils before heading off to meet up with Kinyuki, and maybe get a better angle at the deer tribe.
:::
Kinyuki quickly turned his head away at the ongoing intimacy of the beastmen, blushing profusely, his thoughts jumbled trying to figure out why they'd do this out in the open. There were nothing resembling a tent or hut, so they didn't live there, they might be from the same tribe, but some have a different color pelt than others. Was this some sort of ritual where they just get in a big rut in the middle of the day? He shook his head, trying to focus on his friend's disappearance rather than the scene.
'Even if he's out there watching the beastmen,' He thought, 'He still could be in trouble with that bookkeeper around.'
Just then, he heard a rustle from behind him, turning around swiftly with his pipe in hand. A female deer beastman was walking toward what seemed like more thick overgrowth. Her light-brown hair jostled around, looking to see if anyone had followed her, but missing Kinyuki, she pulled back some of the overgrowth to reveal a concealed spot and, with a final glance around, entered it. Though thinking that it might not be anything fatal, Kinyuki surmised that if it's pretty girls, it's probably something having to do with Figaro, and slowly followed her in.
He was initially nervous about what he'd find, but soon found himself chuckling, and not just because it wasn't Figaro. There, in the middle of this secret, brush covered hidey-hole, was a snoring monkey laying on a blanket, covered head to toe in dirty magazines. The deergirl must have tried setting this up, maybe even lured the monkey into the spot with the magazines, but he must've gotten distracted and 'spanked' himself enough times for him to be of no service to the irritated female.
'Just another wacky scene in the wacky world of Humble Village.' Kinyuki thought, smiling, but as he went to go back, he had come face to face with the deergirl. He was just as much caught in the proverbial headlights as she was, staring at each other wordlessly. Kinyuki's eyes had traveled down from her hazel eyes, now noticing that she had remained topless from the moment he first saw her. He snapped back to reality, ready to explain himself, holding his hands up to show that he didn't mean any harm.
The deergirl had slowly begun to approach him, her ears twitching and her nose sniffing at his neck. They soon both found themselves face to face, chests touching as they stared into each other's eyes. Kinyuki nervously laughed on instinct, trying to go for a handshake, despite how close they were, brushing up against her arm. Seemingly understanding that he was non threatening, and taking an opportunity to examine him further, she had begun to stroke Kinyuki's hair and ran her fingers along his neck and his chest, feeling the fabrics of his shirt.
Kinyuki knew this was an opportunity to do something naughty, but expected something to interrupt them as he allowed the examination to continue. As she began to understand how buttons work, more importantly how they came off, her intentions were glaringly clear to him. Her expression changed, a soft smile with hungry hazel eyes, revealing a knowing of what she was doing that had caused his blood to rise and ended his indecision on what to do next.
His hands had made there way to her back, one hand firmly grasping her rear. The other hand began playing with her tail, which flicked playfully in between his fingers. He'd look for Figaro, but he'd need help traversing the woods, and he didn't intend on leaving the lady teased for no reward, but he'd work that out when he could convince her to follow him. As if on cue, the deergirl had turned her head, flicking her ears, before jumping behind Kinyuki, holding onto his arm in fear.
Kinyuki didn't even need to wonder, as he heard his snickering friend and, after comforting the scared beastman, explained that it was his friend and that he'd go talk to him. The embarrassed man had poked his head out of the brush to meet his grinning tentacle monster friend giggling before trying to push him back in.
"C'mon Kinny, you can't keep the girl waiting."
"I was looking for you." Kinyuki whispered curtly, "Where have you been?"
"Don't worry about it, lost the magic hooded lady though, but there's a whole lot of everything going on out here." Figaro smiled gleefully.
Kinyuki had sighed in defeat, but now knew that the bookkeeper was a lady magician, and where his friend was. He figured that he could go out searching for Tomi, as the hooded lady would eventually return for him. There was the situation of Figaro getting lost and the deergirl, but he figured putting two and two, or rather one and one, together would prove to solve the problem itself as he searched.
"Actually," Kinyuki started, "You mind showing this one a good time while I go back out?"
"Don't back out, dude." Figaro replied, folding two of his tendrils, "'Sides, I doubt she'd-"
Kinyuki stopped him, "Figs, you've been living in a tower full of creeps that wanted to eat you, you ecaped into a forest looking for me and survived a blast from the main character guy. You deserve a break and I'm not using these extra clothes in my pack for anything other than cash."
Kinyuki's retort had stunned Figaro silent. For a while, while he was still in the tower, he had thought that most people on the outside were just humoring him, not even thinking twice about his explanations. He even had thought Kinyuki didn't take him seriously before meeting him in person. Figaro smiled as he wiped at his eye, now knowing that he had a true bro helping him to enter society and score with a cute beastgirl. Kinyuki threw his backpack to him as he went back inside to ask if the deergirl wanted to meet his friend.
