Tessa and Larkin were talking about more plans on the Kingdom when she entered the dining room seeing some blonde girl, wearing a white tank top and blue jeans. She didn't recognized her at all until Laila turned around and they both stared at one another it took Tessa's breath away that Laila went human instead of Angel it made her feel even more alive but being Queen she had to be a bitch to her crush none the less.
Tessa knew Laila lied to her about who she is, she did tell the truth that she's from Ruitha. Tessa didn't fall for any of Laila's lies knowing that they would back fire soon enough since Laila couldn't hold a lie long enough for anyone. Larkin knew more than he was letting on too, so it is all simple if she kept playing their little game until either him or her confess.
Tessa left the dining room without another word to Laila, so she went down to the dungeon to see her parent's to check on them. Gracelyn always stayed hidden in her room without bothering Tessa at all for anything. They would meet for breakfast, lunch and dinner but nothing more, no play dates or anything. Tessa walked across the foyer though Larkin came up behind her saying,
"You know who it is don't you?"
Tessa chuckled replying,
"Of course, it's Laila, she can't lie it's a difficult process for her."
Larkin rolled his eyes responding,
"So you let her lie about her name?"
Tessa nodded her head up and down replying,
"Yes because she can lie for so long and you better not tell her that I have figured it out."
Larkin sighed responding,
"Yes my queen, are you still seeing you're parents in the dungeon? If so I am coming along."
Tessa smiled at Larkin replying,
"Yes we are, I am sure mom and dad would love a visit from me."
Tessa made her way down to the dungeon, Xavier and Deanna were locked in the lowest foyer to not socialize with the other prisoners. She checked among her fellow prisoners seeing that they were still wealthy, she knew not to let them starve or let them go without water for her parent's they are suffering endless beatings and making sure they don't get away with anything.
Tessa had reached her parent's after walking down below the dungeon knowing it had a ripe smell of decay that made her nose pinch up and she had to hold in a gag. Deanna weeping holding a white grip on the cell door saying,
"Baby girl, please let us go, we can move elsewhere we don't deserve to be in this dungeon."
Tessa scowled at her mother replying,
"You have hated my ways including dressing in dark clothing that bring me happiness, you both hate that I will never marry a Prince. I am never marrying at all for that matter even if it is to please you both. I let you both free, I will be put in here for putting you two in here. No, not happening, I am meant to be in this position and I will be in control of this precious Kingdom."
Xavier staggered to stand up saying,
"Tessa, please, we will let you have you're way as long as we can be King and Queen again, you are to young to be this high in power."
Tessa looked over at Larkin nodding in agreement with her father saying,
"He is correct, this power is not worthy of you yet. You need to learn more my dear Princess, you will always be a future Queen just not right now and you need to focus on getting Laila back to her Kingdom."
Tessa heaved a heavy sigh saying to Larkin,
"Release them, get them bathed and release everyone else that is need of a bath, food and a home within our village below."
Xavier pulled Tessa to the side knowing he is weak saying,
"You my dear will be a great ruler one day and I will not force you to marry anyone since you are only sixteen. I am still you're father but if you wish to meet Laila's family in their Kingdom, you can. As long as Larkin goes with you."
Tessa stifled a scowl replying,
"Yes father, I will make sure Larkin stays with me. Go on with mom and get cleaned up."
Xavier went on his way with her mother in tow. Tessa looked over at Larkin with a chuckle saying,
"Let's go get ready to meet Laila's family and tell her that she can be a Angel again."
Larkin laughed replying,
"Unfortunately princess, she's stuck her even though you have released you're parent's."
Tessa's eyes went huge as she responded,
"You have got to be kidding me? She's stuck here, so that means we can't go to her kingdom."
Larkin nodded replying,
"You are correct."
Tessa groaned stomping her feet out of the dungeon with fury not understanding what the hell to do now. Tessa found Laila where she left her several hours ago with a smile saying,
"Princess, so glad to see you back from being a evil queen."
Tessa rolled her eyes replying,
"This isn't about me, it is you, first you lied to me and second you can't even take me to your kingdom, what the hell is going on?"
Laila shook her head no back and forth responding,
"You don't understand, so what is the point of telling you?"
Tessa struggled to breath replying,
"I would understand if you told me, why are you in my dreams and everything else? Do you
even belong in my kingdom?"
Laila turned around with tears down her face responding,
"Tessa, I know you are upset with me but please this is not the time to bring up what I have
done."
Tessa infuriate with a red face replying,
"YOU HAVE TIME BECAUSE YOU ARE STUCK HERE, NOW WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?"
Laila didn't know what to tell Tessa since her duty was to be able to help her from everything and yet that now is a bad idea to tell her because she is fuming over her lying on top of it and that she couldn't go home right away. Larkin grabbed Laila away whispering,
"It is best to get you settled in a room because when she is mad it is best to stay away. I love her but she can be such a bitch."
Laila turned back from Larkin looking at Tessa with disappointment feeling her whole world fall apart, she couldn't make Tessa understand her lust especially since she's most likely straight. Laila didn't know what to do as she whispered back,
"Larkin, has she always had a short fuse?"
Larkin chuckled whispering,
"Yes, she's never been liked since Gracelyn came into the picture. Even though she is supposed to be future Queen, her adopted sister is full of light and joy that they would rather take Tessa's place as Queen."
Laila shook her head taking slow steps to her room though the Queen Deanna stopped her and Larkin saying,
"Laila, we mustn't have you in this kingdom unfortunately since Tessa is having a tantrum again, we must have you go stay down in the village."
Laila raised a brow replying,
"Excuse me, is this how every guest gets treated because of her tantrum?"
Queen Deanna nodded her head lightly responding,
"Unfortunately, she can get rather violent when things don't get her way."
Laila stood her ground replying,
"I am not leaving, I will stay in a guest room."
Queen Deanna lowered her head responding,
"Very well then Princess Laila."
Laila curtsey then went on her way with Larkin to a guest room. Larkin smiled saying,
"That is very brave telling the Queen that you are staying."
Laila chuckled replying,
"Someone had too."
Larkin patted her shoulder with chuckles, they took steps up to the second flight and as soon as they made it to the beautiful bright pink guest room she felt delighted seeing that it had everything she ever wanted even though Tessa loved everything dark.
