Birdie had never experienced a hug this good, ever.
After hugging for a while Asher decided it was time to move or the'd be late, so he raised her to his arms and carried her to the car. Birdie kept hugging him like a koala bear until he got in the driver's seat with her on top of him.
Birdie stopped hugging him to see his face but he had his arms around her still. Birdie blushed for the tenth time today and buried her face in his neck so he didn't see her face.
"Don't hide from me little bird, I want to see you" he said, this morning he decided that her blush was his favourite colour, and he would take every chance to see it.
Birdie noticed her face getting more red so she just shaked her head and stayed in his neck. At this Asher couldn't help but chuckle, she was too cute for her own good. "You have to let go of me and go to your sit if you want to get in time to out date little bird" he said. He was totally amused with her. Also he had plenty of material to tease her with after watching the interview with her saying that he was her boyfriend.
"Ok" she said in small voice. She was normally a really brave girl but with him she just run out of words. She climbed off of him and went to the passenger seat all the while noticing his gaze on her.
"So where are we going ?" she asked, she was truly curious as to what he had planned for them.
"We are going o have dinner and then we are going to my place so I can hear you play some piano in person" he said winking to her.
"but where are we going to have dinner ?" she asked, she decided to not argue with him about going to his place, after all she was curious as to where he lives.
"I'm not telling you that little bird, in fact here" he said handing her a blindfold, "If you trust me, you'll know that i won't take you anywhere that's not safe for you little bird" Asher explained.
Birdie thought about it, she knew she couldn't rely on her feelings, since she had already fallen for him, not that she would tell him anyway, but she didn't know if he had an ulterior motive.
She decided to take her chances and put it on, after all if he betrayed her she could get out of it, she was sure about that.
Birdie put on the blindfold and muttered an "Ok"
Asher thought she would fight him on all of his plans a lot more, but she proved him wrong and complaid. He didn't know if it was because of her trust in him if there was any, or because she felt confident of herself.
He drove to the London Eye, and got out of the car after telling Birdie to wait for him to get the door. When he opened it she was taking her seatbelt off and he took the blindfold off of her so she knew it was him.
Birdie latched onto his neck and hugged him again, she really didn't like the blindfold and it made her feel uneasy. She craved physical contact now, and since she loved his hugs it just came in handy. She felt as protected as possible in his embrace. She didn't even care to look at her surroundings.
Asher was astounded that she was so clingy today after all the trouble she put him through yesterday. He was grateful that he was growing on her anyway, and held her like before, with his chin in the top of her head and his arms in her lower back.
"Do you want to see what I have planned or do you just want to go to my place and we can cuddle in the sofa" he asked, feeling good with the two options.
Birdie was seriously considering the choices he gave her, but decided that they could do that after their date. "We'll go to the date and then we go to your home and cuddle" her voice came, muffled by his shirt.
Asher grinned and whispered an "OK"
They stayed like that for two more minutes after which Asher separated them and told her that they should go. Birdie then let go of him and looked around her to see that they were in the the London Eye, and there was practically no one there.
She looked at Asher quizcally with questions in her eyes.
Asher just smiled at her and took her hand, leading her to the entrance of the London Eye. There there was a guy waiting for them that greeted them very cordially and let them in a cabin.
In the cabin there was a table setup with a meal covered by one of those metal things. The table had flowers in the middle and a candle that smelled like cinnamon, one of her favourite smells.
She looked at Asher in disbelieve, Asher just chuckled at her look and took her to the seat. They sat next to each other and looked deep in the others eyes.
Asher spoke first, "What do you say, do you like it ?" he asked with a bit of nervousness in his tone. Birie took his hand and squeezed it, "I love it, thank you" she said grateful for the effort he made.
This was a great date, not just like a normal one when you take someone to the restaurant. Asher thought about this and it made her feel all fuzzy inside.
Asher took the covering of the food and it turned out to be black truffle pasta, one of her favourite dishes ever. "How did you know I love this food ?" she asked him.
Asher scratched the back of his head and answered her "Well, you see, I went to ask Jason as he knows you so well".
As he said this Birdie was shocked, he didn't know Jason and to Jason he was still chasing her.
