"Would you stop laughing at me!", Grace shouted with an annoyed look.
"Oh, cmon! like you can blame me for this, Mika replied from the other side of the table. She has been giggling and laughing since then. "I'm even surprised you got it right now! I thought Nate would spend his whole life just trying to make you understand this".
"Why would he do that? Wait! does he know about this?!", Grace yelled.
Mika's mouth was too busy with the big bite of the double cheeseburger she had stuffed inside. So she just shook her head in denial.
"Then why?", Grace started eating her.
Mika gulped down her cola. "Um- because he loves you?", Mika frowned like 'are you serious?'.
Grace was dumbstruck for two seconds. Then her laughter covered up the silence, "Oh dear! you crack the worst jokes".
"I'm serious you know", Mika got annoyed.
"Yeah right. You need to stop overthinking Mika", Grace picked up her drink.
