"I-I'm saph-phire." She stuttered. "Yeah, I know. I've seen you around school." "How are you in my dream?" Sapphire asked, concerned. He laughed. "What?" She said, getting defensive. "Saph-"don't call me that."-"right. Sapphire. This isn't a dream." Ben said. When Sapphire hesitated, ben explained how it worked. "When you were in that fire, you didn't just get a second chance at living. Sapphire, you got a second chance at life. You got a choice on how to live." "How did you know about that?" Sapphire was cautious about trusting this man. "The fire?" "No... how I- um- well- died." He paused. He opened his mouth, searching for words. "It doesn't matter." He finally said. Sapphire wanted to run away. She wanted to get away from this boy, but, for some reason, she stayed. She looked him in the eyes, and said, "your dead if your wrong." He laughed. He reached into the big pocket on his sweatshirt, and grabbed a compass. It had a small dragon made out of gold, on the side. It was surrounded by small pearls. He held out his hand to her. "Do you trust me?" She paused. She thought for a hot second. Then she took his hand. He fiddled around with the compass. Then he spun the needle. Colors swirled and blended all around them. Her insides mixed together. When the world stoped spinning, she collapsed on the ground. Then she blacked out.
