"I don't get it, father," the red-haired man said with a frown adorning his handsome face.
The long crimson hair tied into a high ponytail, the long silk ribbon dangling together with the beautiful hair.
The other man, looking older and wiser chuckled with a cup of tea, the steaming green tea swirling inside.
"What's make you confused, my dear one," the old man with long black hair but also with white strands smiled.
The red-haired man not amused with the way his father replied with another question.
"First of all, why you let Xing-er reborn as a human," he asked, the older man hummed.
"Second, we're gods, why we should mend with human and even letting them live inside the realm you created to protect mystical beings."
"Human is indeed a necessary element," his father said, "actually we're not so different from them, though we have magical power and stronger physical body."
The crimson-haired man let out a huff, he wasn't usually like this. He was usually calm and collected, acting as one of the eldest ancient deities.
He didn't despite human, but they were different and he felt like they shouldn't be together.
He understood how human could bring misery, but his father insisted it wasn't just human, they all could bring misery.
So why didn't give those people a chance?
"Okay, Okay I understand how compassionate you're and how you want to give they a chance to live together with us, but why you let Xing-er reborn as one?"
The other man with his white robe, golden sash and his black-haired tied loosely in the middle with baby blue silk chuckled.
"Because he was destined to," the man answered, "just like you destined and born as the first phoenix, my child."
The great phoenix shut his mouth, nobody could defend the law of destiny.
"Like how you and your twins born together."
"Like how you became the first phoenix and your twins became the golden dragon"
There was heaven clan, there were dragon clan, there were so many mystical being clans.
They who called as the gods by a human, those ancient legend from the history were real.
They were just live in a different realm, in a different dimension.
This place was what people called as heaven, but in Phoenix's opinion, the other realm was heaven too.
It was the same, supposed to be the same.
Till human found one thousand and one way to corrupt their realm.
Exploiting and digging the earth until it collapsed.
He didn't hate human, he hated the way they treated nature.
Taking them for granted.
"Because Xing-er would be the protector of the humankind," the Phoenix snapped up his head, eyes frowning once again, clearly disagreeing.
"What?"
The Jade Emperor nodded, he knew how his child adored his younger brother.
"He needs to reborn as one, to know and feel the feeling of being human."
Just with that, he could understand why he needs to protect humanity.
The Phoenix was angry because the father let one of the princes of the heaven clan reborn as a human.
Leaving his throne just to obey the order from their father.
The heaven clan located in the centre of the realm, while he protected the south.
But now, one of the princes who supposed to be untouched by the human, he was being reborn into the humankind.
When the time was right, the oracle would get a dream and pick Xing-er.
Xing-er would be another person, but still with his original memories as the prince of the heaven clan.
Heaven clan lived in the central, ruling the realm together with the human.
Those humans were getting their territory, like a small kingdom while heaven clam took care of the empire.
This supposed to be their safe sanctuary, but after they accidentally went through to this realm, human lived together with them.
Human, magical being, deities; it sounded so weird to the phoenix's ears.
"I know you don't hate them, my child," the emperor tapped his shoulder, "give them a chance, human famous with their abstract personalities."
The Phoenix nodded, "I know, I'm just afraid they might take your kindness for granted and start another stupid war."
They all knew how weak humankind to the demon clan's temptation.

"I don't understand this world at all," I murmured inside the carriage.
My father and mother were in another carriage while Hwan was riding one of the horses with a kind guard.
The little boy was too bored inside the carriage for hours, he was bawling till one of the guards offered him to ride together and feel the fresh air of the mountains.
Wei chuckled lightly when I asked her to story tell me again about the origin of this world, her hair tied into a bun adorned with pretty pink ornaments, "to put it simply," she began to explain with her forefinger pointed to the sky.
The world was created millenniums ago by the Jade Emperor, it was supposed to be ruled by the heaven clan.
The Jade Emperor was the first emperor of the universe, he wasn't the one who ruled the world anymore.
He was the one who united the world. It is said that he was one of the few gods who has entered oneness, a state of single-mindedness; only being either good or evil.
After passing his title off to the next Sky Emperor, nobody knew where he resided.
In this world lived various spirits, originally from another universe but because there wasn't safe, Jade Emperor opened the door into this realm so they could live peacefully.
But then human found a way to enter this place, the emperor was too kind so he gave them a chance to live here but no way back to their original world.
I was sure that was my world, and the deities were the same as the folklore in mine too.
So they originally from my world but moved to this place.
I knew it, the dragon was real, the bones found in my world were indeed from real dragons-
"Young lord?" Wei waved her hand before my face, "are you listening?"
I blinked my eyes several times, "oh yeah, yeah, of course, I'm listening," the lady gave a loud sigh, clearly knew I was half-listening to her story.
So first of all, I still had a positive mind thinking I could somehow gain more power once I learned from Chaska.
He was a human even though his soul was originally a deity.
I could manage, at some point.
And if I couldn't, I would pull a card stating I was the great phoenix's fiance and got full protection from other immortals.
I nodded my head and dozed off with the comfortable breeze.
Good grief today's weather was nice, if it was sunny the journey won't be fun at all.
I stared at the lotus bracelet on my left arm, "what a pretty bracelet," Wei said when she noticed it.
I gave a big grin and nodded, showing it to her who sat across me, "is that lotus beads?"
"I guess so?"
She examined the bracelet, "what a skilful craftsmanship," she commented, the lotus engraved carefully and beautifully to every bead.
"I got it from a friend," I said, smiling when I remembered the face of the girl, Huo Hai, her name made me happy at some reason.
Was it a crime when I already have a fiance but now thinking about another girl?
