It was a cold night in which people could even feel the breeze outside whistling gusts around the eaves.
I looked around at the almost empty alleyways that I went through while staring into the pocket watch that Isla had bought for me.
The time was right at 10 pm.
The alleyways were dark and quiet. It was to the point that my footsteps seemed to become unnaturally loud to my ears.
While I was walking through my way, I suddenly heard other footsteps sneaking behind me. Because of that, I immediately turned my head around.
But there was nothing except pitch-black darkness behind me.
(Ugh.. maybe this is just my imagination.. but it's getting creepy here..)
I thought to myself worriedly, gulping down the lump in my throat nervously, and decided to continue my way toward my destination.
"Really, where are you going?"
