I ended up doing Keto's homework at the school field. Even if I'm a better student than him, it was still too difficult for me to understand his homework because he's in a senior/graduating student while I'm just still a junior.
"Keto, what does this mean?" I asked, showing him a symbol from a damn math question.
"Don't ask me. I have no idea what that is either."
"Ugh…" I'll never get this done. Or more like, he's supposed to be the one to get this done!
"You know, you'll never learn if you always give me your homework. If you keep doing this, then you will have a hard time when you're in college." I told him.
"Pfft, you sound exactly like my mom right now. Just shut up and do as I say." This guy is seriously a pain in the ass!
Fine, it'll be his problem anyway if he doesn't study properly.
And as I continued to struggle with his homework, Keto had something to tell me. "You're free this weekend, right?" What the hell is he up to now?
"Nope, am not." My weekends are always reserved for Cain. It's the only time I get to enjoy myself with someone I actually like.
"Then you'll have to cancel your plans."
"What!? Why?!!"
"This weekend, we'll be going back to the Hawkin's Place. You understand what comes next, don't you?" For real? It feels too soon to come back to that place. Though they do pay everyone so generously, but thinking about getting beaten again kinda scares me. "Either way, busy or not, you have to come no matter what the cause."
"Yeah, I know." I guess I have to tell Cain that I'm going to be busy this weekend.
Such ashame that I won't get to hang out with him soon. I miss him.
After I finished with Keto's stuff, it made me relieved as he let me go early. Classes already ended by the time I got back to the classroom, and the three of Lyde's friends were nicely waiting for me. "Hey, you missed a lot this afternoon so I made a copy of note for you."
"Thanks Ian." What a very nice guy!
"So, shall we all head out now?"
"Let's go!"

Cain's pov
The man before me became unrecognizable after taking a few punches on the face. He cried and begged to me that I spare his life, but I had principles, and that's to stick to the rules. "Cain! Man, please! I beg you! My mom still needs me!…"
It was too pitiful to watch.
"If you were wise enough then this wouldn't happen. You could've been more careful selling information about the upcoming competitions, and as well with the other important data that you stole. Rather, you should never have done it at all." He could've gotten away with all of it when he knew how to erase his tracks and planned more carefully.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I won't ever do it again, just please—"
"Believe me, I don't want to do this either." I'm sick of getting my hands dirty. And I can't even get a proper wink of sleep because of this kind of shady job—what's worse is that it's the only job I can bear with at the moment, since the boss won't let me go easily.
"I'm done here. You can finish the rest." I gave the gun to a colleage who was watching over us and made him finish the job.
"Understood." And after I got out of the room, a loud gun shot is heard. I sighed as everything is finished. "You look like you need a break." Unexpectedly, the boss was smoking outside the room.
"I do need one." Specially this weekend. I wanna see Lynn. She's like a breath of fresh air that I need right now.
"Unfortunately, you can't. We've got something big to do this weekend, and I need you to manage the third division." Eh!?
"But the weekends are supposed to be my days off!" How am I going to see Lynn?! I don't wanna wait for another week to pass just to see her again.
"Tomorrow's an exception. So we got no choice." Damn it.
I sighed again. I can't count how many times I sighed this day. "Fine, I guess I'll have to cancel my plans for tomorrow."
"You better do." He left as he said that.
Tsk. That damn boss really had to ruin things for me.
I headed straight at the lounge room and stared at the screen of my phone for quite a while. With her picture and contact displayed, I'm hesitating to cancel but like that damned boss said, I had to put my job first. "I'm sorry, Lynn. It's going to be depressing that I won't get to see you this week."
Then I finally dialed her number as I made up my mind.
[…Cain?] She answered quickly! Geez, I think I'm not prepared for this.
"H-Hey! Uhm, I was meaning to tell you s-something."
[Yeah? I wanted to tell you something too.] She does!?
"Oh, go ahead."
[I think you should. You were the first to call.]
"O-Okay then…" I hope she won't get mad about it. "…I'm sorry, but I can't meet you this week. I'm pretty busy right now until then."
[Wha, you to—I mean, it's alright. It's okay.]
"What about you? What were you going to say?"
[Ahh… it's nothing. Don't mind it.] Shit. Maybe she was going to say something about our plans during the weekend, and I just canceled it! Ah, I feel really bad about canceling the plan.
"Well then, I guess I'll see you next time. Take care, alright?"
[You too, Cain.] Then I ended the call, being disappointed at myself.
"Damn it. I miss you so bad right now." I wanna see her face, but I guess I'll be stuck staring at her pictures just to see her.
[E-Eh!? Uhm… I-I m-miss you too!] WHAT THE FUCK!? Didn't I just end the call?! Staring at my phone, I haven't properly ended it as I thought. Fuck! She heard that!?
"O-Oh… uhh… I didn't know you were still on call… uhh… shit… hahahaha... uhm, bye then!" Then this time, I made sure to end the call.
DAMN THAT WAS SO EMBARASSING!
