It's already been a week since I became good friends with Agnes. Break and lunch became something I look forward to everyday because she makes the best food ever! "This cupcakes are the best. Seriously, how do you make it so delicious?"
"T-Thank you! I just, um, practice a lot until I get the taste I want." She answered.
"I'd marry you if I get to eat like this everyday." I chuckled, then had to take back what I said after realizing a few things. "I mean, whoever marries you will be such a lucky guy. He'll get to eat a lot of your best dishes."
"A-Ahahah, I-I don't really know about that. But I'm glad you like the food I make."
"Yeah h-hahaha…" I almost forgot I was pretending to be Lynn. We continued to talk more, but I mostly do the talking since Agnes is so shy. Though sometimes she takes the lead, and is improving with making a conversation.
I also stick by her side most of the time to avoid the pesky teacher which actually works. He'll just shot glances at me whenever we meet, and it's always hinted on his face that he was hurt or something.
Whatever his relationship with my sister was, consider it obliterated. There's no way I'll ever let her be with that guy. Though I wanted to know more of what they used to be, I just never had the chance to talk to Lynn these days.
Lynn's always occupied with the gang stuff, and I wouldn't want to bother her that much because she has got quite the temper. She must be going through something far more difficult than I am right now.
When Agnes had to go somewhere during lunch time, I was left all alone at the classroom feeling a little lonely. Did I got so attached with her company that much in short time?
"So, are you going to have lunch all by yourself?" Then out of the blue, he showed up. Shit! Not him again.
"I'm waiting for a friend. She had something to do."
"Can't I join you there while she's away?" He really likes to force himself to people who doesn't like him.
"…no."
"Then I'll just sit here close to you." He smiled annoyingly as he sat on the chair right next to me.
"Agnes could come back any second, so you don't need to keep me company."
"But what if she doesn't come back soon?" Ugh, I can feel my blood boiling just by looking at his awfully handsome face.
"Then I'll keep waiting for my friend."
"Hmm…" then he just stared at me weirdly.
"What now?!" If I can poke his eyes, I'll make sure that he'll be permanently blind.
"…I'm just sad that you're still treating me so coldly."
"And how the hell do you expect me to treat you?" I said while glaring at him.
He's suddenly surprised by what he heard. My bad, I didn't mean to come off as rude. "Do you hate me that much?" Isn't super obvious? This man probably can't accept the fact that I already rejected him.
"I already told you last time, you should just forget about me."
"If it was only that simple… I really like you, you know." This stubborn son of a bitch.
"That can be just an infatuation, or an attraction caused by pity. You rejected me the first time I confessed, and I had enough. So please forget about me, please!" Shit, I said 'please' twice.
"I-It's not out of pity!" Lucas reached to touch my shoulder and gave the most sincere look on his annoying face. "I'm not like that Lynn. You're the first person that ever made me feel this way. I like you, only you."
Seriously, that puppy eyes is so terrible that I want to gouge out those eyeballs.
"Argh! Why can't you understand!?" I stood up from my seat and walked out of the classroom. Dealing with him is frustrating me too much!
"...so a bitch like you can turn down a popular guy who's been chased by many girls in this school." It startled me when Haley popped out of nowhere... no, she must be outside the classroom this whole time. She heard everything.
"It's a problem you don't have to deal with." I told her.
She gritted her teeth and pulled me by the collar. "You think it's not my problem!?" Right, I almost forgot she likes Lucas. And like hell I care about that!
"OF COURSE IT'S NOT YOUR PROBLEM! It completely has nothing to do with you!!"
Haley pushed me to the wall and yelled right at my ear. "IT IS! You stole him from me, Lynn! I was the first to like him, and you had to steal him from me!"
"It's not about who liked him first! And he's not even yours to begin with!!" She was stunned by the fact that slapped her to reality, and apparently, Haley's too stubborn to accept it and gave me a hard stinging slap on the face.
