"There's no need to be further concerned, I'll just eat somewhere else." I'll definitely wait for him to leave, and go to the rooftop just as I planned.
"I just wanted to say that you can join me for break and lunch at my office." Pushy scumbag, does he not understand that I don't want him here anymore? If I was only strong as Lynn, I'd punch the hell out of this guy.
"…no. i'm fine by my own, Sir."
"Lynn, I only want to help. You can always tell me your troubles, and I'll help you out. Are you that upset because of Haley? Do you want me to do something about that?" Even if I'm already furious inside, he's still a fucking teacher. It's annoying that I have to be respectful even at this times.
"No… I'm sorry. I just want to be alone right now." This sort of feels like I'm in a drama from a romance tv show… geez, I think I've watched too many drama shows with Gramps lately.
Then this damn guy won't let me go so easily. He grabbed my shoulders and looked like he's about to cry now. What has gotten into him!? What if there were other who might see us!? They'll think we're in some forbidden teacher-student relationship.
"Sir Lucas!—"
"…I think I now know. Being upset with Haley is another matter, but treating me like this… you must be acting like this because of what happened before, right?" Holy shit, what is he talking about!?
"E-Err, I don't know what you're talking about."
"You don't have to play dumb! Isn't this because I didn't gave you a proper response last time?!" Response what now?!
"Uhm…"
"I'm sorry, okay?! I didn't know what to say at that time. My head couldn't think of anything, and my mouth felt like it was suddenly sewn shut. All I could think of was your feelings, and… and I never thought you'll like me." What the fuck, Lynn liked this guy!?!?
It's not a wonder if she did. This guy got brains and looks, but it's still inappropriate for me because he's waaaay older than us. Not only that, he's also a freaking teacher!
"But now… I know what I feel for you, Lynn. I like you too. So please don't push me away anymore." Then he started getting closer and closer with his lips aiming for mine. But before it could even happened, his lips ended up kissing the palm of my hand.
It surprised Lucas that I didn't let him kiss me. "What's wrong?"
"What's 'wrong'… you ask? Everything here is!"
He stepped back as I started complaining.
"You're a teacher, and I'm just a student! And what's even more worse is that we're in school! You know what, Lucas? I'm done with you, so just find someone else and forget about me." I hope that's enough to get rid of him.
I walked away without him bothering me anymore, and I probably won't get to hang in the rooftop after all.
The break still wasn't over, so I just ate the food I brought from home at the classroom. I was expecting that I'll get to have all the classroom to myself since most of the students eat somewhere else, but the loner girl is also here.
Loner girl, huh... I'm not so different from her at all.
Taking another bite out of my sandwich, suddenly she came up to me with food in her hands. "H-Hey."
"Oh... hey."
There was long silence before she spoke again. "Do you mind if I eat you—I-I MEAN! DO YOU MIND IF I EAT WITH YOU?!" I was pretty shocked with what she said at first, and it was a little bit funny.
"Sure, be my guest."
She pulled a chair nearby and brought down her food at my table. "You can have some if you like." Looking at the food, it seem tasty.
"Oh really? Don't mind if I do." Free food is the best.
Now two loners are trying to befriend each other. Kinda sad but this is better than staying alone. "...what was your name again?"
She gave the sweetest smile that I have ever seen throught my entire life. "It's Agnes."
"Agnes... I'll keep that in mind."
"Are you alright?" She shyly asked.
"Hmm?"
"Uhm, with Haley? You used to be friend with her."
She must be curious about that. "I think... I'm fine. I don't need someone like that in my life."
"Then will it be alright i-if we become f-friends?" What a silly girl.
"Don't even ask me that..." I told her. She suddenly got bummed about it, and it made me laugh a little. "...because we already are!"
"Really?!" She's so happy with such a small thing. How cute.
"Yeah. I really liked your food, did you made it by yourself? It's delicious."
"I-I did. Thanks."
"Let's also have lunch together later..." maybe it won't be so hard pretending as Lynn with Agnes by my side.
