Ren's pov
After that gang fight, the losers were kicked out of the Hawkin's place and the winners instantly received some of their privilege as a part of the competitors of the Neutral Faction.
"Congratulations Ren, you made a spectacular show." Nigel commented. I was called into his office while my gang are getting their wounds and bruises treated.
"Thanks. But it wasn't that much fun though. Things could've ended way more quickly."
"I actually noticed. If the opponent was too easy, you should keep in mind to take your time with him. The longer the fight, the bigger the profits."
"Yeah, I'm aware of that."
He smirked as if I piqued his interest. "For a rookie, I'm impressed that you know a few important things. You must've done some research, haven't you?"
"Not really. It was information that can be easily gathered with little effort."
"…little effort." He laughed. "I have great expectations of your performances in the future."
"And I'll be holding on to your word." I reminded him.
"Well of course! I never go back on my word."
"Good to know."
I thought I could get out of his office after that but the sick freak extended the conversation which lasted for half an hour. I'm already exhausted and sleepy by this hour, and I still didn't even had my dinner yet. When he finally got tired of all the talking, I was glad that he'll finally let me go now.
"...and before you go..." What!? There's more to talk about!? His mouth can't be stopped so easily. Then the black masked guy who was standing behind him all this time finally moved and brought out some case. "This will be your pay for today's performance."
The amount of money in the case surprised me. "W-Woah!"
"Since today's performance has gone so well, I added a little more as a token of gratitude."
'This is too much!' I can't say it since he might take it back from me. But I was really stunned by this loaded case. "Err, thanks. I guess I'll go now."
"Yes, see you soon Ren."
And before I could get the hell out of his office, I remembered what happened earlier and asked him for a little favor. I was glad that it wasn't a problem for him, so after that, I went on my way to the whole gang.

Lynn's pov
"...the bastard thought I was too easy, but he ended up getting knocked down by a punch!"
"Oh, oh! There was also another guy like that from that gang, he looked so tough too."
The whole gang was already having a good time while they were getting treated. It was nice that we can finally take a break and relax. "Hey, I saw a guy getting swung by the Cerberus leader earlier. Man it was fucking hilarious! The guy got me distracted and got me in trouble... but it was still funny!"
"Ah yeah, I saw that punk too!" Well shit. I just covered my face with the face towel that was handed out to us earlier. My face felt warm from the embarassment. That jerk Hades! If he didn't do that, then I won't ever feel like this.
Ahh! That was too pathetic of me earlier.
"Wha—Ouch!" Suddenly, Keto came up to me and tried to pull the face towel and my wig off of me. Is he still suspicious of my hair 'til now!?
"Heh. I'll get that wig off one day." So he 'is' still suspicious of my wig.
"If I go bald from all your hair pulling, I'll blame it on you."
"If you go bald, blame it on yourself. It's your fault you got me curious." My fault!? How did it ever became my fault!? I didn't complain any further. Arguments with someone like him will get to nowhere.
Then one of our gang members came to approach us, I thought he was going to talk to Keto about something but I didn't expect he'll be talking to me. "Oi Lyde! The boss wants to see you outside." He said.
"Ren? What does he need Lyde for?" Keto asked.
"Uhm, I don't know sir. Boss said to fetch Lyde for him."
"Alright. You should go now." He said, hitting me on the back. This jerk is really getting on my nerves.
"I'll be going then..." what the hell does Ren want from me anyway? Do I have to run an errand for that jerk? If he does, can't he just make other people do it? I'm already tired as hell. Not that I can complain about it, might as well do it than to get beaten by a dangerous delinquent. Though I think Ren isn't as bad as Keto.
When I got out of the room, he was there waiting for me. He also had this suit case and clothes with him. "Oh, are you doing fine now?" Woah, he's pretty nice to ask me that.
"Yeah, their nurses here does a pretty good job. I barely feel any pain right now."
"That's good. By the way, here's a change of clothes." He said as he handed me the clothes he has with him.
"Oh thank you, but... oh." Recalling what happened earlier, I felt ashamed to face Ren like this. Damn it, this is Hades's fault. "I'm really sorry about that." I apologized.
He laughed it off nicely and even patted my shoulder. "It's fine, you should get dressed now. I'll be dismissing you all later."
"Oh okay. Thanks. Really." As he left, I also had these thoughts of Ren. For a delinquent he's really nice, and it gives me a feeling of deja vu. Though I won't ever doubt the fact that Ren's a really dangerous delinquent. What happened earlier with the Cerberus leader, I think I won't forget it so easily.
Remembering Ren's monstrous strength just gives me chills.
