Chapter 50 - The Beginning Of Something New, Part 3

Lyde's pov

It's been almost a month since I got Lynn involved with the Wild Beasts. And I'm getting a bad feeling about what happened to her last night. She always informs me of the fights she'll go through, and she didn't even bother to tell me the details last night like before.

"…I'll try to figure this out." I muttered to myself while sipping on my drink.

"Lynn!… Hey! Can't you hear me!, Lynn?"

"Oh, what's up?" I asked Haley.

She looked really upset that I kept ignoring her. I barely know these girls, but I can already tell what kind of person they were to my sister. And it's disappointing how much of a pushover my sister was.

"You were deaf as shit, you know? Better clean your ear sometimes." Natalia joked.

Even if it was something that any person can get worked up on, I didn't bother reacting. People like them likes to mess with people who's trying to live peacefully. "Well? What do you want?" But since I'm pretending to be Lynn, I might as well put through with it.

Haley slammed her money on my desk and smirked. "Go buy us some drinks. The usual please." The heck? Can't they do that themselves? Also, I'm not some bartender who knows what they usually drink!

"Alright. I'll fetch it for you right away." So ridiculous! And I hate the fact that I'm going to do it anyway.

"Good gi—" I quickly left the classroom before I could hear it completely.

I can't believe Lynn is hanging out with them. Aren't they treating me too much? Is this because they got jealous of the expensive meal I bought yesterday? They should drop dead from envy if they are! It's still too early for me to be pissed off, and this is just the second day of class too.

"Damn it." Now that I'm standing infront of the vending machine, I don't know which to pick for those bitches. Before I can even put my money in the machine, someone cut infront of me. "Hey!"

"You were taking too long haha." He even has the nerve to laugh at me.

Right, there's also this weird teacher. "You should've wait for your turn, Mr. Lucas."

I think I might ask Lynn about this teacher later. He really seemed too close to my sister, but I'm going to find out what's going on between them before I ask. What exactly is his real relationship with her? If they're something beyond the teacher-student relationship, I can tell that someone might end up in jail... and that won't be me.

"Oh, did that upset you?" Isn't it obvious?

"Well, I got distracted and forgot what I was going to get here." I told him. I didn't even smile back at the creep. It really feels like this teacher is trying to flirt with me, and it's giving me goosebumps because I am a man.

"I see, then let me order for you..." he even took the money I had and used it on the vending machine. He also ordered something quite specific. "...don't you usually order this for your friends? Here." As he handed me the drinks, he smiled even brighter than before.

Usually, those kind of smiles from a good looking guy would make any girl's heart flutter. And guys doesn't smile like that to any girl, they do it to girls they like. And this man infront of me is doing the same things, I felt nothing but chills... is he really hitting on my sister?

"Err... thanks." What's worse is that he knows what Lynn often buys for herself and her friends. That's very suspicious.

I almost freaked out when he leaned closer just to whisper at my ear. "You're most welcome."

It froze me from where I'm standing. I managed to look back when he was finally gone. "What the hell.... that teacher is so..." wasn't that some kind of harassment or something?!

Also... Lynn!? What the hell is wrong with your fucking teacher!?

After the following days, I did my best to avoid that mofo to be at peace. Lynn's friend seemed to like Mr. Lucas since they threatened me not to get in their way when it comes to that creep of a teacher, and I'll gladly do so. I really can't stand that creep being close to me as well.

However, those two were also getting in my nerves these days. Lynn here, Lynn that. I just found out about my sister being too much of a pushover and it's tiring to pretend to be one.

"Haa..." I took a quick break to catch my breath from going back and forth with all those request they make. This makes me appreciate my real friends... and I kind of miss them already.

"...aren't you tired?"

"Are you seriously asking me that?" Such a stupid question.

"Would you like to have my drink?"

"Oh really?! Thank—" then it stunned me when I just realized that someone is talking to me. And that person turns out to be the girl who was always alone at the classroom.

"You?!"
