First day of school is just full of introductions and making friends. Normally I wouldn't attend since it's a waste of time but Lynn forced me to do this, and I don't like how my first day is going at her school.
"Buy us a pair of set d4, and you get to keep the change so you can buy your own food." Haley ordered, and gave me a fifty dollar bill.
"Alright…" Why do I feel like I'm their lackey here? And what the hell am I going to do with their change!? It can't even buy the cheapest meal set in the cafeteria. Though money is not much of a problem for me, and as they said, I bought them a pair of set d4.
D4 was the third most expensive meal listed on board, but the meal contents doesn't really look appetizing. "Err… two pairs of set d4 and set f6." I ordered.
"Two sets of d4 and uhm… are you sure about f6, young lady?" The woman at the counter asked.
"Yeah. I'm pretty sure."
"But it's the most expensive, and most students can't afford it—"
"I may not look like it, but I have the money. So I'll have the set f6." I said. If they know most of the students can't afford the damn meal set, then they should've made it cheaper. Staff in this school is really idiotic.
The woman was still hesitating to get me the meal set, but she did anyway. And she got really surprised to see me pay almost a hundred dollars for this meal set. Then before I could make it back to the table, someone suddenly walked along by my side.
"I see you've bought set f6. Isn't that like your allowance for the whole week?"
"M-Mr. Lucas!" Why is this teacher acting like a close friend all of a sudden!? Is he a friend of my sister too?
"Hahaha, don't be so jumpy. You're carrying a lot of food with you."
"Ah right…" what's his deal? His presence actually bothers me a lot, specially when I noticed that he kept glancing at me in his class earlier. He's a creep.
"I see you're still hanging out with Haley and Nat, you must have changed your mind about them haven't you?" …what? He knows about Lynn's relationship with those so-called friends of hers?
"Yeah, what about it?" I calmly said.
"Hmm nothing much. Thought you could do better than that."
"Okay?… I'll be with my friends now." I left the guy as soon as I got the sight of my friends. Something about Mr. Lucas really bothers me, and my manliness is shaking from this unusual teacher.
When I got back with Haley and Nat, they were both surprised to see me carrying this expensive f6 meal set. Both look at me with disbelief, is it because it's really expensive? "Woah, won't you look at that. Are you trying to impress me by buying me that meal?" Haley chuckled. The heck is she saying?
"Hahaha, not really. Here's yours…" they frowned as I gave them their meal. These two must've thought that I'll be giving my lunch to them, weird girls.
"You really changed, Lynn. Are you trying to make yourself look expensive just by buying that meal set? I bet you spent your whole week allowance just for that. You should've been more careful with your decisions, it'll make you look… stupid." Ugh, why can't I just have an expensive meal in a peaceful way?
"Rather than wasting our time talking, I'll be the one to eat first. Alright?" I told them while smiling. And they look offendedly surprised but I didn't give a shit at all. A hungry man has got to eat first.
Just when my mood improve by eating the delicious meal set, I think Haley and Nat were up to no good since they kept bossing me for the rest of the day. Is this how Lynn gets treated by these so-called friends? Are they even actually friends with my sister?
"Lynn, carry my bag for me."
"Lynn, lend me your pen."
"Lynn, write the notes down for me."
"Lynn, pick up my bag please."
Lynn, Lynn, Lynn... all they ever did was to order me around! Can't they do it themselves!?
"Lynn, get the notebook from my bag—" before Nat could even finish, I excused myself from these girls and went out to take a breather.
"Maybe I should've ignored them from the start." It seemed better to be alone, rather than getting bossed around by those sick prick bitches. I let out a sigh from exhaustion.
And for the rest of the remaining time in school, I did my best to not get in their sights and avoid them. I can't stand to do another ridiculous order from them.
