Chereads / Loving The Other Devil / Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

Jackson Drake

I scowled at my friends who have been bugging me to tell them what happened last night which I do not want to talk about. Heck, I do not even want to remember it but they kept bothering me to let them watch the video which I do not have anyway. My prank on Louella failed and that is the reason why I do not have the video. Well, that is really a good thing for me because they will never see my failure unless Louella will tell them what really happened and I will not let that happen.

"Come on Drake, just talk already!" Ace exclaimed as he chuckled.

"Right! You won't to let us see the video and you don't want to talk about it either. How else are we going to know what happened last night?" Dane added as he laughed with Ace.

"What's keeping you from telling us about it?" Ace questioned as he raised his eyebrow at me.

"Don't tell me, you failed-" I cut Dane off.

"That's none of your business." I grumbled as I stood from my seat.

"Losing is not in his vocabulary, Dane." Ace stated as his gaze narrowed into a squint.

"But I wonder why he doesn't want to show the video or even tell us about it." He added and then he furrowed his brow while Dane gave me a confused look.

"Will you just shut up Ace?" I snapped and he just smirked at me as he stood up, and then he went behind me.

"Easy man, don't be so tense." He said as he gently massaged my shoulders.

"Get your hands off of me." I grunted.

Ace did not remove his hands on my shoulder; he put more pressure on the massage instead.

"Get your hands off of me, Ace." I repeated but this time, I have put emphasis on each word.

"Easy man. Come on, have a seat so we can talk properly." He replied as he gently pushed my shoulders down and I sat just like what he wanted me to do.

"I said, get your fucking hands off of me!" I growled and he instantly removed his hands on my shoulder as he moved away from me.

"Calm down, man." Ace said as he went back to his seat.

"He's on his period, don't piss him off." Dane said as he moved his lips closer to Ace's right ear.

Dane is acting like he is whispering what he has said to Ace but in reality, I heard what he has said and he did that to piss me off a little more. I furrowed my brow and squinted my eyes as I glared at them, and they just chuckled at me.

"Drake, do menstrual cramps really hurt?" Ace questioned and I instantly stood and then pointed my index finger at him.

"You-" I started.

I looped my arm around Ace's neck loosely and he is acting like he is running out of breath. In reality, I do want to strangle him right now because he is just so annoying.

"You're going to kill him Drake!" Dane exclaimed as he tried to remove my arm from Ace's neck.

"Shut up dimwit! I will kill this man!" I yelled.

"No! Don't kill me yet, I still have a date later." Ace gasped and I lightly slapped his forehead before I released his neck.

"With whom? Georgia or Michelle?" I asked as I sat back on my chair.

"Dude, those were her exes last week. He's dating Alyssa today." Dane piped up and I rolled my eyes at Ace.

"Oh, how can I forget that he doesn't date a girl twice." I grunted and they both chuckled at my retort.

"New day-" Ace started but we cut him off.

"New girlfriend." Dane and I said in unison as we stared at him.

"You change girlfriends just as often you change your clothes." I scoffed and they both chuckled.

"And you're changing the subject! We were talking about Louella a while ago and now, you're talking about my exes!" Ace spoke out and I thumped my hands on the table.

"Hey-" I cut Ace off and then I stood from my seat.

"I have to go, see you later." I said.

"Hey! Where are you going? We haven't talked about what happened last night!" Dane exclaimed stopping me from leaving.

"Shut up Dane!" I snarled and then I glared at them.

"Right! Tell us about your failure first before leaving." Ace said playfully as he chortled.

"Shut up and just watch, Ace. And oh, the both of you can do whatever you want to do with her friends, just leave Louella to me." I stated and with that, I left them as they continued chortling.

I exited the cafeteria and walked towards the parking lot. As soon as I reached the place where my car is parked, I quickly got into my car. I took out my phone from my pocket and dialed Dave's number. He immediately answered my call.

"Master-" I cut him off.

"I want you to do something and I'll send you the full detail after this call. Make sure that everything is done after an hour. If you fail to do so, I won't give you your salary for this month but if you were able to do it, I'll double your salary for the next six months." I stated and with that, I ended the call.

I can just text him about this but I want to make it clear for him so I had to call him. As soon as I ended the call, I sent him the instruction and then I drove away. She can just mess with others but she dared to mess with a devil and now, she has to face my wrath. Poor girl!

"I won't let you slip this time, Louella." I grunted as I sped away.

I reached the Dreamland Hotel which is owned by my family after about an hour. I quickly went towards the suite where I asked Dave to set up everything. Dave was able to follow my instruction. Everything is perfectly done but there is only one missing and it is Louella.

"Dave, where is she?!" I asked surly.

"Master, she's having a fever so she wasn't able attend her classes. You just came from the university, haven't you heard about it?" Dave answered.

"No! I'm not asking about her condition Dave! I am asking you, where the hell is she?!" I growled as I scowled at him.

So she became sick because of what happened last night? She deserves it!

"I did not pick her up. I waited for you here to personally ask you this. Is it okay if we'll just do this the next day or until she has fully recovered?" He asked courteously.

"Dave, I don't care whether she's sick or not! Just bring her to me now!" I snapped at him.

"But Master, I hope-" I cut him off.

"I want you to bring her to me now, no more buts and what ifs! Just bring her here!" I growled as I glared at him.

"I'm so sorry, Master. I will pick her up now. I'm really sorry for the  inconvenience." He said apologetically as he bowed his head.

"Tell her that I want to personally give her backpack back." I added and.

"Right away, master." He replied and with that, he scrammed.

Well, I do have her backpack and she will definitely come with Dave to get it back.

"You shouldn't mess with me Louella." I grunted and then I smirked.

The day when she threw her friend's orange juice on my face, I immediately told Dave to do a background check on her. Dave was able to provide me everything about her including her fears and phobia. She has an undeniable fear of thunder and worms. What is more surprising is that she is coulrophobic, and that is what I will use against her.

I asked Dave to prepare a kid's birthday party for her. I also asked him to hire ten clowns that will perform for her later. This will definitely be fun! I can already imagine what will happen later. I will be watching her screaming for help. I bet, she will surely beg me to take those clowns away from her just like how she begged me to take the zombielike men that I hired away from her last night.

Louella should come here because I do not want to waste this preparation and more than that, she should not miss this one.

It has been almost an hour after Dave left and I am starting lose my patience. What the hell is taking them too long to get here?! Damn it! I need to know where they are now.

I dialed Dave's number and he immediately answered my call. That is what I like about him the most. Dave never made me wait, whatever I asked from him within a specific time, he will surely make it ahead of time.

"Master, do you need anything else?" He immediately asked.

"Where the hell are you now?" I asked impatiently.

"We'll be there in five minutes. Do you need anything else?" He asked courteously.

"No, I'm good. Just hurry up." I said and with that, I ended the call.

I can already imagine what will happen. Poor Louella, she has to experience this one.
