As Brann continued on with his training. Of course he can't do much but run around and doing push ups although he could barely do it.
'This is to slow' Brann cursed.
'Remember that you're a child Brann, it'll take a while for results' Debby reassures him.
'Yeah I know that but I can't help it, I need progress and results'
'Yeah, even though this isn't earth you still brought your lack of patience with you'
Brann ignored Debby and continued trying to train his body as well as reading more books that he acquired from merchants.
This became his routine for a whole month although his body is still small he could clearly see some results. He had began to eat more which caused some panic with his parents but they brushed it off as him growing and needing more food.
The books that Brann acquired from the merchants in the town were nothing new. Although a few had piqued his interest about a class or trade specification of a rune smith and rune master as not many people are into runes it was a refreshing piece on information that lifted a bit of Brann's worries.
'Huh, so I guess their are still some people that are into Runes, I've got to meet one someday' Brann thought to himself putting the book away.
'I don't get why you bother reading that stuff' Debby exclaims. 'I could just record it you know'
'I know but I've got to develop my brain with reading and mental exercises, and it's just cheating when I'm leeching off you' Ignis replies grabbing another book to pass the time.
In the first month a lot had changed with his schemes and business deals, noticing a problem in the way he would go about making his deals with merchants and artisans, because they would be in shock with Brann and his adult like way with his ability to talk well and converse in a well mannered way. Along with his shrewd and monstrous ability to negotiate and barter, it wouldn't look right if a kid where seen doing that so he thought of a way to deal with it.. He opted to use one of the houses he owns, decorating a room, making it imposing and using John to convey his words to the merchants and people who he has made contact with.
Soon enough a Rumor had started to circulate of a mysterious person that would invite people to meet him. Of course the conversation and contents of their talk was kept quite. Which led to people giving him a name Gloved man, as the room where they often led to was dark and only the glove of this mysterious man was seen. Which again led the people who were brought in to make deals with the man into creating a sort of club or society, Called themselves the White Glove Society (lol FNV reference, but don't worry cannibalism not included).
Putting the house to use Brann began using the house as the location for his business meetings. Hiring people which he thought could contribute to his over all plans. They consisted of retired veterans and mercenaries, broke scholars, merchants and notable farmers.
Using their skills and connections as well his families resources Brann was able to expand his business in just the short span of two months. By now most of the influential and powerful people in Kersh Village had grown aware of The gloved man and his brilliance.
'There, that's the Adventure's guild, A couple of high ranking guards, city officials, and vendors' Brann thought.
"John what the status with the local bandits and gangs?" Brann asked his aid John.
"We have made contact my lord, and they have agreed to meet us at the Harbor warehouse tonight" John replies in a gentle manner.
"Good, have one of the guard captains under us gather some troops that he trust, and have them mask and disguise themselves, don't tell them what we're planning just tell them to meet us there".
"Yes my lord"
"Good you can go" Brann says, handing John a document and a bag of coins. "Use the coins as a little gift from us, and tell the coach man to bring the Carriage".
"At will my lord" John leaves the house they were hiding at.
'Debby how's the plan coming along with the runes?'
'Almost done just doing the finishing touches with the range and volume, it won't affect the device though'
'Good, just leave that alone for now, we're here for a show and i want maximum output on those runes'
'Very well but are you sure about this?, cause this is too much even by your standards'
'Well we don't have the technology to prefect it, and we can't control people with it'
'Yes i know, but-'
'Debby, these people are sick and vile, I'm not here to make a pact with them, im making them an example'.
'I guess you're right'.
AT THE WAREHOUSE.
NIGHT TIME.
"John is the captain and his men in position?"
"Yes my lord".
"Did they put on the thing i asked them to?"
"yes".
"and the trinkets?"
"Yes my lord".
"Good, they're almost here".
Outside the warehouse a large group of people have gather, thirty at most.
"Fuck, why do we have to come here, this Gloved man has the nerve to call us out like this?. I say we just kill him when we see him" Said a Bandit.
"Sigh, common bandits just don't have a brain do they?" a man in a sleek outfit says.
"What did you say bitch?" the bandit yells, angered by the mans remark.
"Bosh calm down, and you better watch your tongue smith, I respect you but that respect isn't solid"
"My apologies Fin, i did not mean to cause such discord between the two of our groups.
The two groups where the Bandit leader Fin and the local Gangs Boss Smith.
"But we should be wary of this Gloved man, whatever his intentions are, we need to be prepared" Fin says.
"I agree with you there Fin, but what's to say we just attack the man and force him to tell us his connections, with that we've got dirt on every single influential person here".
"That's true Smith, but I'm having a bad feeling about this" Fin says looking around, "I can sense at least eleven people inside"
"Then why not just kill them? i mean it's thirty against eleven" Bosh says, grinning making the group antsy and excited, agreeing with Bosh.
"That's stupid, we don't know what their capable of so let's not rush things". Fin says calming down thee group.
"You're right Fin" Smith says agreeing with him.
"Alright everyone, we're coming up at the warehouse, keep your wits with you and don't do anything stupid".
AT THE WAREHOUSE
"Good, they're here, open the doors" Brann says sitting on a chair, with his face covered and wearing a white glove. "Open the Doors, John".
"Yes my lord".
With the the warehouse gate opens reveling thirty people who enters the warehouse.
"John do you remember what i told you?"
"Yes my lord"
"Good, then let's get started".
