"So, I've been meaning to ask you" Laurens said as he slowly sat up.
"Hm? What is it?" Jace responded.
"Why are you moving here in my house?" Laurens questioned as he dropped Jace's things.

Jace Lancer is the third grandson of the Lancer Corporation founder, this corporation is one of the most prominent businesses in the world and has spread their name around the globe. So, Jace is quite a big shot, but status and positions don't matter in Hazard and this fact has been kept a secret by Jace himself.
It was the first day of school and Jace was having fun watching his classmates fight when an unfamiliar face entered the class. The students in Hazard usually know each other the day before classes starts due to fights and rumors but it was the first time he had seen that person.
He looked weak and fragile, his black hair was a mess and his bangs are so long that it covered half of his face. He was pale but not as pale as a vampire, just enough for girls to get jealous. He introduced himself as "Laurens Chrome" before a flying chair almost hit him in the face.
He immidiately took cover under the teachers desk, which lead to Jace thinking that the new kid was a 'normal', if you're confused, let me give you a breif explanation.
The Hazard Academy has 2 types of students, there's the "normal" and "peculiar". The normals, are students that are sent into this school unwillingly while the peculiars attend this school willingly. And that's about it for now.
Jace is an example of a peculiar, he willingly attended this school of delinquents. But some students are forced by their parents to attend Hazard because of "financial circumstances" since attending hazard won't cost a single penny and the parents of the child will be given a monthly compensation money, they are the normals and they are usually scared when faced by the barbaric nature of the other peculiars.
But something about Laurens was odd, Jace was confused as to why the new kid was wearing a jacket despite the blazing heat in the room and he wasn't even sweating. So Jace decided to befriend Laurens for no reason whatsoever, he just felt like it, and that's how it came to this.

"Well, I figured that you might be lonely living alone. So, I decided to keep you company" Jace replied.
Laurens couldn't deny about the lonely part, it was kind of sad living alone. Maybe having housemates isn't so bad.
"You have nothing to worry about, cupcake" Jace smoothly replied.
"Whatever you say" Laurens rolled his eyes and went to his room.
Jace situated himself in one of the vacant rooms in the house as Laurens drift off to dreamland.
Not much happened that day, only Laurens fainting and his class learning their lessons not to tease the boy. And so another day arrived! The sun is shinning behind the storm clouds that hovered in the sky.
Just as Laurens and Jace arrive at school, the heavy rain fell and thunders clapped loudly. When you're living in an island located in the pacific ocean, the weathers can be unpredictable sometimes. One day the sun is shining brightly then the next thing you know, a typhoon has formed and is destroying everything you know and love.
"Welp, I guess no P.E. today" Laurens shrugged as he placed his umbrella and bag beside his table.
"Think again, hot stuff. The coach is merciless, even if there's a raging typhoon or a volcano erupting, that woman will make you run 20 laps around the school building." Jace exaggerated.
"Oh yeah? Give me prof" Laurens replied as he crossed his arms, smirking in ignorance.
One period later...
"Ignorance is bless, am I right?" Jace said looking at the exhausted Laurens.
"That woman is a freaking psycho!" Laurens exclaimed drench in sweat and rain after he ran 10 laps on the track field.
After first period, Laurens and his classmates were dragged outside to run laps in the heavy rain and violent wind. It all happened so quickly that they didn't even know how they changed into their P.E. uniforms.
"I know it's wrong to say 'I told you so' but I told you so" Jace shrugged as he ran ahead of Laurens.
Laurens breathed heavily after finally finishing his laps, he was lucky he's not the last one to finish. He quickly took a hot shower and changed into his uniform. He eventually went to his next class which was art.
"Art is boring" Laurens muttered exhausted.
"Apparently you still haven't learned your lesson during last period. Listen here, dolly. In Hazard there is no such thing as boring" Jace smirked as he patted Laurens on the shoulder and they head to class.
As the day came to end, Laurens finally realized what kind of school Hazard Academy is. It was a shocker, there truly is no boring in this island. Art class was messy due to a fight that the teacher initiated, they learned how to do abstract that day. In Home Economics, Laurens didn't know why, but he made a ball gown. It was confusing but the teachers were doing their jobs like a boss, in fact they were the best at it.
"Isn't Hazard fun? Even though people kept saying this was a school for bad kids, and they're not exactly wrong. But anyone with eyes can tell that our teachers are the best of the best, even math seems easy! And I hate math." Jace exclaimed as he happily talked with Laurens on the way home.
"It is fun, the classes are hectic but despite all the chaos. I'm able to learn with ease, and theres no homework here too" Laurens grinned as he exclaimed his happiness.
"Homeworks? That's a waste of energy, homeworks are only given to compensate the teacher's lack of skills. In Hazard, the teachers are already the best of their work so homeworks are not needed. The student's energy must be preserved in order for them to be motivated in learning, or so that's what my brother told me" Jace responded like a chatter-box.
And so, the two talked about nonsense until they arrived home. The rain clouds were long gone and the sun set was shinning merrily in the sky. The day has ended worthwhile.
