"Jace!! Jace!! Wake up!!" I felt a slap land onto my cheek and shot my eyes open, startled as I was violently pulled out of my sleep. I had the unfortunate pleasure to have my sight disturbed by the view of the old hag holding one of her smelly mixtures near my face, ready to drown me with it.
I grabbed her wrist and forced it down. "What the hell do you think you're doing?
- Waking you up, obviously." She freed her wrist from my grip and placed the bowl of smelly herbs onto the ground near my lap. "You've been asleep for almost two hours.
- Why would that concern you?
- You're the one who wants to reach our destination as soon as possible." She got up, taking her disgusting bowl with her and sat down a few feet away.
