"Hina~!" Emily giggled, flying into the badger girl and hugging her tightly. Hina had been walking down the hall toward the bedroom where the girls waited, and Charlotte had been led off by an angel, to have a spell cast on her that would allow the cat girl to enter Heaven. Badger Girl smiled and pinned Emily to the wall, kissing her, eliciting a soft groan from the devil as her eyes widened and then closed slowly, only to flutter as Hina pushed her tongue past the Devil's lips, glidingg against Emily's own... and then she broke away, giggling.
"Hina...?"
"Who says I have to be a bottom all the time? So, Emily, I was thinking just now. We're headed to Heaven tomorrow; why don't you and I spend some time together today? I want to explore the city, and I could use some alone time with the girl who saved my life in the first place, you know?" She smiled, leaning in to innocently kiss the still-fazed Emily's cheek.
"Um... yes!" Emily grinned, coming back to herself and hugging Hina tightly. "I was getting worried, you know, since we haven't had any alone time in so long~ but I know how much has been going on, your mind has obviously been other places." She smiled and kissed Hina's cheek in return. "Don't call me stupid for keeping track... I didn't want to bring it up while you were stressed about transforming, but I got you a small gift around the time we'd known each other for a month, shortly before the climax of all that demon stuff. I was hoping to give it to you now," she answered, slowly drawing a hair pin out of her dress pocket; this time a cute, tiered lolita style, which oddly suited the curvaceous Devil. It was a hair pin, unassuming for the most part but with a small ruby glinting in the light.
"It's pretty, Emily, thank you," Hina grinned, immediately fastening it into the corner of her bangs. The purple Devil girl grinned in answer like a schoolgirl who's feelings for senpai had just been accepted.
"I know you aren't really a jewelry kind of girl, but you know how you can store excess mana in gems like a battery? That ruby is enchanted to be able to hold three times your current body weight's magic, should you store that much in it. If you ever need to pull off another spectacular summoning or something like that, it should help."
"Thank you, Emily, it really is an amazing gift, I swear it." Badger Girl patted the Devil's head like she might do so a cat, then asked; "You know, you're not quite a Devil anymore, are you... so what did that purification make you?"
"Aerendyl called me a... Fell Angel," Emily answered, soft and sugary as she began to stroll down the hall toward Hina. "I don't mind much; apparently I'll be able to fly, when we get to Heaven he plans to teach you and I both. Aurelia probably won't really have any trouble, she's used to having big wings on her back, even if they're bigger now."
"You're probably right," Hina agreed, rounding a corner. She recognized where they were from her original trip here with Emily and the rest, and so was now guiding their stroll toward the front doors. Really, she needed some fresh air and sunlight after what felt like exiting a world of only darkness. Before too terribly long, the two of them made it through the front gates, and indeed, the Summoned Hero felt like she was inhaling her first breath of clean, fresh air for years behind.
"Hina... are you okay?" Emily asked somewhat timidly, pausing at the side of the road. Confused, Hina stopped walking as well, furrowing her brow.
"What do you mean, Emily? I feel fine."
"You've just been through so much, since I found you limping through the forest... it seems like these summoning stories are supposed to be grand and full of happy times. Save the cuties, kill a few slimes, maybe a dragon..." Emily bit the corner of her bottom lip, stifling something. "Instead, you were made out as a villain to an entire nation, infected, mutated, mutilated, used, abused and nearly killed more than once. I know some people will say things like that are good for building character, but come on...!" For a moment, they only stood there, and then Emily laughed quietly.
"You're too perfect, Hina. In your position, I'd be broken down into a thousand pieces right now."
"I'm not perfect, Emily, but I love you, and it isn't time for me to break just yet. All of us are alive, right? I think that's the important thing," she said softly, playfully. "Yes, it makes me angry how Argent triggered me and how the angels used me... but I'm okay with being used as a tool, if it means preventing a war that would kill hundreds of thousands of men, women and children. Wouldn't you agree with that, Em?" Hina spoke lightly and truthfully, and Emily smiled, laughing quietly as she shook her head, snowy hair swaying.
"Yes... I guess you're right, I would think like that." Emily sighed and held out a hand, lacing her fingers with Hina's. "So, where do we want to spend the day, today?"
~~~
Hina groaned softly, tangling her hand in Emily's upper dress as the fell angel softly kneaded Hina's breast through her clothes, their tongues warring to surpass one another. Finally, they broke away with great reluctance, each girl panting softly.
They'd decided on a lovely little café, because it seemed that Emily had more than a liking for coffee. The place was themed with pinks and blues and greens, all pastel shades, and the cushions on the chairs were shaped like stylized cat heads. It kind of reminded Hina of a cafe she'd known back when she... wasn't a she, which seemed strange given the fact that this was an entirely different world. However, tucked into an alcove booth as they were, Hina and Emily were free to enjoy their coffee flavored kisses to their hearts' content, swapping spit in a happy little mess. Nobody around to watch as Emily leaned in again, planting soft kisses along Hina's neck, softly grazing the skin with her... teeth.
"E-Emily, your fangs, are they g-gone?"
"Yes, but it wasn't like I was trying to drink blood, so it's not a big deal," Emily answered with a smile, moving back to meet Hina's loving gaze. There was something slightly melancholic in it, though... "Fangs are the mark of a demon... but even though I'm not exactly an angel, I'm no longer a demon. As long as you still love me, I'm okay with that... and you weren't ever into me just for my looks, I'm sure," Emily spoke with a quiet tone and a soft grin, but it sounded like she wanted Hina to agree, reassure her.
"You were gorgeous before and you're just as beautiful now, Emily, but you're right; I fell in love with your person, not your looks." Gently, she nudged the purple girl with her shoulder. "You've got nothing to worry about; some people say love at first sight never lasts, and we did fall awfully fast... but we clicked as people, not because we wanted to fuck each other, I think," Summoned Hero concluded, sipping her coffee again.
"Well, wanting to fuck you was definitely part of it," Emily said teasingly. "You're right, though. There's a lot more to what we have than sex... ugh, I love you so much, you mutated badger. I was a little scared that things would be different, that you'd be irreversibly changed after all that's happened, and I'm glad to know I've still got my love."
"I think I am irreversibly changed, as you said," Hina mused, flexing her hands around her coffee mug. Really, thank God this world had coffee, because Hina loved sweet, sugary ones as a treat; she'd poured honey and melted caramel into this one. "I'm still the girl you know, though. I've been through quite a lot, and I like to think I'm unshakeable by this point."
"Unshakeable? Hina, you just became an eldritch horror to rival the mushroom god of Underland, how can you even... you know what, good for you. I'm happy," Emily spoke earnestly, shaking her head.
"Thank you, love. What about you, though, Emily? It's been a long road, you must have been more than stressed out. How are you holding up?"
"Well..." Emily thought about it, for a moment. "As well as can be expected, I suppose. It's a bit stressful, and it feels weird to have my wings and skin color altered... but I'm really glad we got our asses out of Starria a month ago. When I was living there, I'd never have thought I'd be able to sit in the back of a cutesy café and make out with a gorgeous black and white haired beaut." She teased, winking toward Hina, who laughed quietly.
"I've been meaning to ask... what are your stats like, now? They've probably gone up immensely since you were transformed and mutated."
"I wonder... can I check now?"
"By all means, go ahead!" Emily grinned, and Hina tapped her smooth throat, watching the transparent white, formerly golden window appear before her.
"That's..." Hina exhaled slowly.
"Quite a jump," Emily supplied. "Wasn't your Mana only at like eight thousand before? That was huge itself... now you have a perk, and new skills..."
"Future Sight is gone, though, that must have been the angel's interference. Dextrous Tentacles, those could be used as a weapon-"
"Or, you could-"
"Emily no-"
"Fuck us-"
"Emily-!"
"-and yourself-"
"Emily!"
"-like animals in heat!"
"So anyway, anyways, Emily, anyway, purification I can imagine, but do you know anything about Divine Grace?"
"I think... I think I've heard of it. If I'm not wrong, it's some kind of angelic healing magic, you should ask Aerendy-"
"OW! W-What the hell, I'm a fan, I just wanted to say hello!" Hina and Emily turned to see a man stacked with muscle, probably in his mid to late twenties, on the ground. His arm was positioned to be broken, and his head was clamped between a pair of very young thighs as if to be crushed like a melon...
"Lily?!" It was the girl from the village, who'd been defended by a maid!
"Hello, Hina-nii! Is that your wife??"
