Chapter 1 - Ch 1 - Flukey

It was 5 in the morning and I didn't sleep through the night again.

My mom broke into my room and said: " honey, try to get some sleep, you look horrific just look at yourself in the mirror !"

I did.

And I saw myself after ages, at least I felt so.

The only unique thing about me is my eyes my dirty green eyes which for some bizarre reason people are obsessed with.

I ran my hands through my messy hair and tied it into a bun. I got up and got an ice pack from the fridge and de-puffed my face.

"Done?!" I exclaimed.

She came towards me and said, "I know it's been hard but don't compel yourself to work throughout the night, honey ."

She kissed my forehead and asked me to get some sleep for we were going to attend another therapist, again!

This my 8th therapist and in other words psychiatrists, and I hate this lineage of humans. They solely empathize with you and consume your time at least I reckoned so.

I washed up and came down for breakfast and the same breakfast again as if it was ceremonious in the family to have the SAME breakfast again.

Mom drove me over to Saint. Mary's Hospital for my therapy sessions with the new "pain".

I along with my mom, walked in and what a seen it was! The same nauseating smell of disinfectant, the same "knowledgeable" doctor's wearing their white coats, the curious interns and the nurses trying to start their love stories by giving those so-called utopian gazes and of course, people whimpering.

The receptionist took us to the doc's cabin and I was assigned as an "assignment" to an intern.

They took me to the therapy room.

It had an extraordinary view which was way more interesting than glancing at those tedious doctors

August:

I was glad to know that ultimately a case was appointed to me but the disastrous part was that the patient was suffering from depression, they have severe mood swings, and charring people is their passion and you need to handle them with sustenance and forbearance.

I entered the room and saw a female figure looking out of the window.

"Meredith Walker ?" I asked politely

"Who else can it be ?" was the answer I received.

With decency, I asked her to sit and saw a pleasant face and was awestruck. Her beautiful slim face with sharp jawline with beautiful bushy brows and deep-set eyes with dirty green iris and long black lashes, a sharp nose and beautiful pink lips, and her auburn curly hair was extremely pleasing.

"So from when are you suffering from depression ?" I asked.

She gave me a bitter gape and I got goosebumps.

" Mr., uh, whatever, you are carrying my patient's file !" she said.

"August"

She had a persistent emotionlessness in her eyes.

" Oh .. ye..yes!" was the only answer I could give.

I huffed.

"So what's your story ?"

Meredith :

An elegant face and my unmoved heart. I felt nothing even though he had a fascinating face. Any other girl would be head over heels for a face like his.

The messy hair with soft waves. A sharp-featured face and mesmerizing pair of storm fed ocean dark eyes. A perfectly symmetrical face.

"My story?"I cackled.

"So .."

I hope you like it and support it.

Thanks for reading .
