June 23rd, 2034, somewhere above the Atlantic ocean.
Destination: Paris, former capital of France, currently no man's land during a civil war.
English troops, Alpha Team (known as the best covert military squad in the royal army),are headed to drop supplies for the civilians unable to be evacuated.
One Luitenant named Ben Davis could be considered as the next in line to be Captain, however, due to his sadistic nature and severe lack of social skills he has been capped at the luitenant status my the Royal representative of the army.
*De-ding*
"Alpha team pilot speaking, ETA. 3 minutes prepair for drop bois."
"ALRIGHT MEN LISTEN UP! THERE ARE 2 THINGS I NEED TO SAY TO YOU LOT! First, after we jump our objective is to reach the airport where our squad will secure a perimeter for the cargo planes to land. SECOND, according to our satellites and informates there should me a low risk of encountering danger. However if such a case were to happen DO NOT GET CAUGHT UP IN THE FIGHT, I'm looking at you luitenant remember our objective." The captain shouted standing at the back of the plane.
Despite her short stature and celestial like beauty, she was probably the only person Ben feared.
The mission was supposed to be simple, that was until a second transition from the pilot changed everything.
*De-ding*
"Enemy artilery spotted 1 klick (1km) from drop zone permission to abort?"
The Captain furiously grabbed the radio and responded, "HELL NO! DIVERT ROUTE 2 KLICKS
EAST!"
*De-ding*
"Understood ma'am!"
"Soldiers ready! we're jumping now and engaging the artillery, leave the defence to teams Charlie and Delta." She grapped another coms device and sent an order. "Bravo team, Alpha team engaging hostiles requesting air support!?"
*Krrr*
"Negative, already engaging hostiles near drop zone. Your on your own for now."
"We're on our own men don't disappoint me! NOW JUMP! JUMP! JUMP!" She yelled.
The whole squad jumped in pairs. Ben and the captain were last. "Are you ready luitenant?"
Ben replied with a smug smile and by grabbing his signature sniper rifle.
They jumped out from the plane and began their decent, however it was not smooth as the enemy began to open fire. A stray bullet hit the captain in the right shoulder, and this meant that she would be unable to pull her chute.
"SHIT!!!" They both yelled in unison.
