The family of four was sat around a large oval shaped dining table, filled with luxurious foods and delicacies.
"How are you feeling now?" Lucials mother asked. He had fallen asleep when he was being brought back to the mansion. After cleaning himself and getting dressed with the help of the family maids, one was finally able to see how he looked.
Silver hair shining like steel cut in a short messy style, hetrochroma eyes (which was extremely rare, to the extent of mythical) one as black as the abyss and the other whiter than the purest of pearls. Due to his appearance he had been hidden from the public untell his powers awaken at the age of 8.
Which only happemd to be in 3 days, august 23rd of the 400th year of the wind dynasty (named after the current affinity of the emperor). His family were worried and excited as he had the traits of a tri power mage, the only issue being his silver hair represented a special power that would only be known after awakening.
There were only currently 3 other people in the empire with silver hair, who were all currently in very powerful positions. Namely, the 1st general, the academy headmistress and the queen. the other issue being his hetrochroma eyes representing the two rarest and most sought after powers being the elements of yin and yang.
"I'm feeling good mother, only a little anxious over the ceremony in a few days." Lucial replyed with a bright smile.
"That's understandable, since it will be your first ever public appearance. As well as your power awakening." His father replied.
However what really bothered Lucial was that in some cases when a mages power is awakened there emotions can loose control. But from what he understands sadism and masochism are highly frowned upon in noble houses, and since he kept his past lifes personality and behaviour he must keep this hidden for his family sake as well as his own.
