Lucy's POV
Yesterday, we had taken down Ironwell. The magic council informed us this morning that Braco and many of his members had been placed in custody and would receive worthy sentences for their wrong doings. (Y/N) was also now part of our team.
I'm currently sitting at a table with Erza, Gray and Happy. Natsu and (Y/N) sat at another table at the far end of the guild hall, they were laughing and having a blast finally being together again.
"So, do you guys think they like each other?" I question.
"Most definitely," Erza nods before reaching for another bite of her strawberry cake.
"It's pretty obvious, always has been." Gray states while taking off his shirt. "Even before all this, they were practically inseparable."
"Huh, didn't think Natsu had it in him." I laugh. "They're really cute."
"Aye, Natsu really likes (Y/N)." Happy munches on his fish. "He's never said it in so many words, but before she went missing, she was all he would talk about." He sighs before continuing. "He was heartbroken thinking she could have been dead, it was a struggle to get him somewhat back to normal."
"He might have flames for a brain, but I wouldn't put it past him." Gray crosses his arms. "He's not completely stupid."
"Wow, never thought I would hear such words from you." I sweat-dropped. Turning to look at the fire and water mage once more, I couldn't help but feel the smirk tug at my lips. "Operation: Natsu and
(Y/N) starts now."
"Ooo, count me in." Mira pops up out of nowhere.
"Yes, me too." Erza nods remaining poker faced.
"Aye," Happy agrees. We all turn to Gray, awaiting his answer.
"Fine." He turns his head away.
"First things first, we get them to admit to us that they like each other." I begin explaining the plan. "We might be able to see it, but we should still double check just in case."
"Leave (Y/N) to me." Mira giggles.
"I'll deal with Natsu!" Happy smiles determinedly.
"You two do that while we devise the rest of the plan." I shoo them away.

(Y/N) POV
"-And then Gramps stomped me underneath his foot!" Natsu laughed, me joining due to the contagious sound.
"Well, maybe you shouldn't have destroyed the port." I shrugged, and continued to laugh.
"I didn't mean to," he sits back in his seat, pouting.
"There, there." I reach forward, over the table and give his head a pat. His signature grin returning on his face.
"Hey (Y/N)!" I look over to see Mira coming this way. "We should catch up. It's been way too long!"
"Yes, much too long," I nod. "Sounds good to me." Getting up from my spot, I feel a hand tug at my wrist.
"What about me?" Natsu pouts once more.
"Hang out with Happy or the team for a while," I chuckle. "I'll be back later."
"Fine." He hangs his head, mopping his way to the table where the team sat. Cute...

Mira brought me to a small cafe, ordering both of us a drink.
"How are you feeling, after everything?" She asks.
"I mean, I've had a bit of trouble sleeping," I sigh. "But, I'm fine. I'm back with my family in Fairy Tail." Smiling at the thought.
"Speaking of, you and Natsu huh?" She wiggles her eyebrows, taking a sip of her drink.
"W-what do you mean." Stuttering, I feel the heat rise to my cheeks.
"Are you a couple?"
"N-no." I look down at my drink in attempts to hide my cheeks that were now darker than Erza's hair.
"Do you want to be?" She asks. "I know you like him."
"I know, but I doubt he would ever look at me that way." I take a sip of my drink before continuing. "Yes, I like him but I don't want to ruin our friendship."
"He looks at you the same way you look at him you know?" Mira queries. "With that look of longing, longing for something more."
"I think you're seeing things, Mira." I say as the waiter hands us our bill.
"We'll see." She giggles.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing."

THIRD PERSON POV
Natsu and Happy were currently out fishing in Magnolia's forestry outskirts; this being after the rest of team Natsu all lied about having 'something else' to do, and (Y/N) leaving him alone to hang out with Mira.
"Hey, Happy, we should bring (N/N) fishing next time!" Natsu suggested, not noticing the large grin growing on his face.
"Aye!" Happy cheered, "and about (Y/N)..."
"What about her?" Natsu queried, head cocked to the side.
"You like her~" Happy teased.
"N-no I don't," he stuttered, cheeks burning a little hotter than normal.
"We're best friends aren't we?" Reeling in his rod, Happy stood from his sitting position beside Natsu.
"Of course." Natsu turned to look at the blue cat. "Why are ya bringing that up?"
"Which means we tell each other everything right?" The aera-magic feline questioned.
"Yeah," Natsu furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
"So, tell me the truth," Happy crossed his arms. "Do you like (Y/N)?"
"W-well," Natsu pulled in his own rod, turning his body and sitting crossed legged. "Maybe just a little..." he trailed off.
"The truth please." Happy sassed.
"Fine." Natsu huffed, crossing his arms. "Maybe just a lot."
"Aye! There you go!" Happy flew up into the air. "You should tell her!"
"No!" Natsu quickly jumped up from the ground. "She doesn't like me like that. I mean why would she?" He sighed, hanging his shoulders. "People tell me I'm an idiot, I over do everything and apparently I eat too much! I can't write very well, and I don't know a lot of big words." He ranted on. "Why would she like that?"
"I bet she likes you! I know she likes you!" Happy shouts. "I can see it! So stop being so hard on yourself, man up and ask her."
"Psh, now you sound like Elfman." Natsu pouts, grabbing Happy and starting their walk back to the guild. "Maybe I'll tell her one day, but not today."
"Aye, whatever you say."
