"I came to speak with you about the deal we discussed two days ago." Lucky responded.
"What do you think?" Rowan inquired. His new tone of voice to Lucky clarified that he was not interested in conducting business with him.
Rowan had his back turned to Lucky, so Lucky couldn't see the man's face, but he could tell Rowan wasn't pleased with him.
"If you're talking about your second in command, Rashid, I've previously told you I have no affections for him. I'm not attracted to him. I'm sure he thinks the same thing about me." Lucky stated.
He was attempting to persuade the elder guy that he posed no danger to his area and was uninterested in Rashid.
If he couldn't satisfy and make Daniel happy, how could he please and make someone else's mate happy?
That was very illogical.
