"This appears to be far unreal, to be true." Dzarma stated it once more.
"How does it feel to have your mother back but your father gone?" Dzarma trailed off, noting that he hadn't relayed the question well, but Lucky didn't seem to mind it.
"When she returned to the limelight, my father and I lost touch. I blamed her for it and even tried to push her away, but it wasn't until I learned she was in danger and was on my way to help her I understood it was never her fault. My relationship with my father was never terrific to begin with, and it took me twelve years to discover that." Lucky clarified.
He and Dzarma had taken a seat on the balcony bench, while Akaya had excused herself to go freshen up.
"Your father was aware of her, but you never informed Aisha and Hamlin?"
"The news of her coming back overjoyed my father, but do you think Aisha and her husband would be as enthusiastic? That's the way it should be." Lucky was the one who responded.
