Daniel didn't bother to listen in on Camryn's call, so he assumed he'd walk to the bathroom and wash his face.
His eyes were heavy from all of his crying, and all he wanted was for his face and eyes to rest.
Camryn was accurate; he shouldn't be saddened because someone had abandoned him.
He had most likely forgotten about him if he left without saying goodbye.
Lucky was most likely unconcerned about him. Daniel wondered as he leaned closer to the sink as the water from the faucet ran.
"Do you think you're okay?" As Daniel returned to the main room, towel in hand, Camryn queried.
"Yeah." He responded before swallowing his saliva. "There's nothing to worry about; I'm OK."
Camryn was skeptical of him, knowing well well that he was being duped by Daniel.
Daniel was in a poor way at the time.
"Shouldn't we go to that party?" He offered an idea.
